Our Dream BTS 2021 Muster SOWOOZOO Setlist

The most wonderful time of the year is almost upon us! Sunday 13th June marks the 8th anniversary of BTS’ debut, and as always, they’re feeding us well! Two weeks of content, culminating in two live-streamed concerts, BTS 2021 Muster SOWOOZOO on Sunday 13th and Monday 14th June. Musters are unique because the shows are made up of B-sides and unofficial tracks that wouldn’t normally be on a tour setlist, as a thank you to the fans.

Is it their birthday or ours? Here’s to making all our song choice dreams come true.

So we, at The Honey Pop, have put together eight of the songs we really hope make the cut. At first, we tried to be sensible, and then Big Hit confirmed our suspicions that they would be performing songs they never had before and that the two days would have different setlists and all that went out the window. The second day is the “World Tour Version,“ so we can probably expect that setlist to include some of their English and Japanese language songs, but other than that, the sky’s the limit!

Note: We haven’t included any songs that BTS performed on Thursday’s BTS Festa Room Live as it seems unlikely that they will double up those performances, our sincerest apologies to ‘Pied Piper.’ Also, some songs have been all but confirmed thanks to the hints, and easter eggs BTS have left ARMY, so those haven’t been included either. *screams about ‘Daechwita’ Yoongi*

Without further ado, here’s our dream BTS 2021 Muster SOWOOZOO setlist!

‘Heartbeat’ From BTS World

Picture this: the introduction to the live stream has faded to black on your screen, all you can see is seven silhouettes. Then, you hear it; “I’ve been feeling seasick, baby.“ Did that mental image make you lose your mind as it did for us?

Released as part of the BTS World: Original Soundtrack for their mobile game of the same name, this song is a true fan favorite. It ponders how BTS would feel if they’d never met ARMY, before eventually concluding that the meeting was destiny. The song has a special place in many fans’ hearts and would be particularly apt considering that BTS hasn’t performed in front of ARMY for over a year.

‘Fake Love’ And ‘Black Swan’ Mashup

The HYBE Insight Museum recently opened in Seoul, and naturally, a large chunk of the exhibits are dedicated to BTS. One of the videos on display is unreleased footage of Bangtan performing a mix of the choreography for two of their biggest (and best) hits, ‘Black Swan’ and ‘Fake Love.’ Whilst the two songs are about different things, they have a similar emotional pull, so we think they would work great together. We simply need to witness the full HD version of this, and they’ve already learned the choreography so…

‘Paradise’

It’s truly blasphemous that BTS has never performed this song from Love Yourself 轉 ‘Tear’ live. All about slowing down, enjoying what good things you have now, and not viewing life as a race, it’s a message that many of us could do with as the world (hopefully) starts to open back up again. Also, Suga recently said it’s one of the BTS songs that has brought him the most comfort over the last year, so maybe his renewed love for the song could lead to the performance ARMY have been craving for so long.

‘No More Dream’ Live Band Version

This version of ‘No More Dream’ is truly elite tier, and we would love to see an updated version. Plus, whilst they didn’t debut until 2013, the majority of BTS’ line-up (not including Jimin) was cemented in 2011. What better way to celebrate their first decade together than at the 2021 Muster SOWOOZOO, with ARMY all around the world?

Subunits: ‘BTS Cypher 4’ And ‘Dimple’

The most obvious, and likely, choices for any subunit performances we get this weekend would be ‘Fly To My Room’ and ‘Stay’ from their 2020 album BE. There would be something really special about ARMY all over the world watching ‘Fly To My Room’ directly from our bedrooms. However, the rap line’s ‘BTS Cypher 4’ remains one of the most iconic and beloved songs in Bangtan’s whole discography. Then, if we were to pick a vocal subunit (sorry ‘00:00 (Zero O’clock)’), we definitely wouldn’t complain about the 2021 line-up singing ‘so I call you ille-girl’ *hip thrusts*.

‘Louder than bombs’

This album track from MAP OF THE SOUL: 7 is another one that BTS have yet to perform. The production style would be hard to replicate in a live performance, so it kind of makes sense they haven’t performed it before. Having said that, the Troye Sivan co-write is so powerful and emotive that we can’t help but hope!

Really, their discography is so extensive, and incredible, that we could keep writing this list forever. These songs might be on our ultimate wish list, but BTS always put on an incredible show, so we already know we’re going to love whatever they do! Can it be Sunday already?

BTS 2021 Muster SOWOOZOO takes place on 13th and 14th June, at 6:30pm KST/ 2:30am PDT/ 5:30am EDT/ 10:30am BST. Tickets are available on Weverse Shop. Click here for our guide to the Muster and all the info you need to know!
