‘JUST LET GO’
The music video for ‘JUST LET GO’ gives us a glimpse behind the scenes and on stage while jxdn was touring with Blink 182. It also appears to be a special tribute to his fans. Before his sophomore album, WHEN THE MUSIC STOPS, was released, jxdn gave fans all over the globe a chance to hear it first. In select cities in Europe and the United States, he shared the magic of the album, and you can catch a few of them in the video!
When The Music Stops’ is my love letter to rock music and my outward expression of inner healing. This album is raw, intentionally diverse, and personal. I couldn’t have created it without Travis Barker & Andrew Goldstein, who have been instrumental in my development as an artist. Thank you for the patience.

Over here in the hive, we’ve been listening to jxdn’s WHEN THE MUSIC STOPS on constant repeat. While it’s impossible to make a full rating list (because, let’s be real, jxdn didn’t miss with this one), we’ve created our own tier list for your listening pleasure.
For the songs we’ll be playing over and over (and over) again, we’ll call them the “songs we never wanted to stop.” The ones that made us shed a tear or two? Those are the “songs that made our hearts stop.” And, to top it off, the “songs that made us stop (drop and roll)” are the ones that were absolute fire!
Songs We Never Wanted To Stop
We’ve never met a jxdn song we don’t love, and we’re pleased to say WHEN THE MUSIC STOPS has kept that trend alive. ‘YOU NEEDED SOMEONE I JUST HAPPENED TO BE THERE,’ ‘CANDLES,’ and ‘WET DREAM (IT’S YOU)’ are only a few that have already fallen victim to our repeat button with, surely, more to follow!
‘SAD OCTOBER’
Our Favorite: ‘WRECK ME’
One of the standouts from the album is ‘WRECK ME,’ a song about letting that one person in our life destroy us and being unable to stop. With a catchy chorus, we can’t wait to sing live; this is one from the album that will be stuck in our heads for weeks. Honestly, we’ve never heard a more perfectly titled song than ‘WRECK ME’ because this song completely wrecked us!
Songs That Made Our Hearts Stop
jxdn fans are no strangers to crying. One thing we love the most about him is his ability to wear his emotions on his sleeve. We were prepared for a few heart-stopping tracks, and jxdn delivered. Before you listen to ‘LOST ANGEL,’ ‘WHAT CAN I SAY,’ ‘BACCARAT,’ and ‘DRUGS,’ you may want to grab the tissues!
‘WHEN THE MUSIC STOPS’
Our Favorite(s): ‘STRANGER’ and ‘HOW FAR’
When it came to the soul-shattering tracks, we had a tie (and jxdn will be paying for our therapy!) Starting with ‘STRANGER,’ you may hear those upbeat drums in the background, but when you listen to the lyrics, you’re in for a kick in the gut. If you’ve ever felt like you didn’t have a place to belong, ‘STRANGER’ is for you. To quote jxdn himself, “Maybe your life’s not what you want, but you’re not the only one.”
‘HOW FAR’ slows things down with an acoustic guitar intro and pure emotion. Short but sweet, this is one that really shows off jxdn’s incredible vocals. What captivates us most is the hauntingly beautiful chorus that gave us literal chills on the first listen and keeps us coming back for more.
Songs That Made Us Stop (Drop And Roll)
If there’s one thing jxdn knows how to do, it’s rock. So, we’re not surprised that WHEN THE MUSIC STOPS is also filled with back-to-back bangers! A few we can’t wait to hear from the pit are ‘SH!T,’ ‘WHAT THE HELL,’ ‘JUST LET GO,’ and ‘STRAY.’
‘STRAY’
Our Favorite: ‘IT MUST SUCK TO KNOW YOU’
While it’s definitely not something you’d want to hear from someone, sometimes it’s the truth. This one goes out to the ones we don’t like, and jxdn bravely says it all for us. What makes ‘IT MUST SUCK TO KNOW YOU’ one of our favorites (and one of the best on the album) isn’t just the bold title and “in your face” lyrics but jxdn daring to show off his range. Showing off a side we haven’t seen before, jxdn adds screaming to the mix, and it works!
Thankfully, jxdn is ringing in this new era with US and UK/EU tour dates. Hitting major cities from Chicago to Los Angeles and Paris to Dublin, you can catch jxdn in a show near you. While you’re jamming to some of your top tracks from WHEN THE MUSIC STOPS at the top of your lungs, know that you’re also partying for good. Portions of each ticket will support Coops Advice, a foundation working to make a difference in addiction education, begun by and now run in honor of jxdn’s late best friend, Cooper Noriega.
