You probably heard of our girl Odie Leigh from TikTok with either tracks ‘Ronnie’s Song’ or ‘Crop Circles.’ It still holds the spot for her most streamed track, but honestly, we can see any of the tracks from her debut album, Carrier Pigeon, passing it.
Carrier Pigeon
If you follow Odie on TikTok, you know that she has been teasing the album, and we’re gonna be honest: we’ve been hoping for an album since we first heard ‘A Month Or Two’ (the Treehouse Tape Sessions.) So, to say we’re excited for her debut album is a major understatement. For Carrier Pigeon, we have heard a couple of the tracks already, ‘My Name On A T-Shirt,’ ‘Conversation Starter,’ ‘Either Way,’ ‘No Doubt,’ and the most recent ‘Already (On My Mind).’ Alongside newer tracks, ‘A Good Thing,’ ‘Party Trick,’ ‘Finer Things,’ ‘Common Denominator,’ and ‘Idiom.’ Making it a total of 10 songs, what a perfect number for a perfect first album. Because honestly, upon the first listen, we fell in love.
We first listened to the tracks we had already heard, then jumped into the newer ones. If you don’t like following the rules of listening from the top to the bottom of the tracklist, this is a good way to go. But in all reality, the only right way to listen to Carrier Pigeon is simply to listen to the album.

Odie truly outdid herself, and we don’t know whether we love the lyrics or her vocals more; there is just so much to love about this album. We love that the album’s lyrics show both the confidence and insecurities that come with crushes and first love, and the instrumentals really help put those emotions into, well, motion, like in ‘Idiom!’ It has to be our favorite track on the album. Her vocals in it just seem more raw, especially with the limited amount of backtracking and instrumentals. What we have on the track is her guitar, a clarinet, and a piano, and honestly, we really, really loved the overlapping parts with the instrumentals. One part played scales, and the others played an almost calm, chaotic tune. And then the transition into a happier beat with ‘My Name on A T-Shirt’ was pure perfection.
Some of our other faves on the album have to be ‘Either Way,’ ‘Finer Things,’ ‘Conversation Starter,’ ‘Party Trick,’ and ‘Already (On My Mind).’ They all vary in themes and tones, but that’s what makes Carrier Pigeon so good! This album deserves every one of your streams, which you can do here. And with that, we leave you with one of our favorite, honestly sad quotes from Odie Leigh about the album.
I’ve learned that happy songs are scarier to talk about than sad ones. Sadness is something to be fixed, happiness is something that can be taken away.
