We don’t know about you, but we’re literally still in shock that we have a whole new album, called MUSE ICYMI, from BTS‘ Jimin. From the concept pics to the tracklist to the pre-release, this entire album rollout has been a dream. What’s more, Jimin now has a dozen official solo songs to his name (excluding remixes and previous Soundcloud releases, etc.).
And do you know what else comes in a set of dozen? The zodiac! Naturally, our minds started whirring, and we ended up here. We matched each song from Jimin’s albums, FACE and MUSE, with a zodiac sign. Check out which ones match your sun, moon, and rising below!

Pisces – ‘Interlude: Dive’
We couldn’t pair a song called ‘Dive’ with any sign other than our resident fishes, could we? ‘Interlude: Dive’ is serene, melodic, and makes the healing, creative atmosphere that Pisces placements are known to crave. The track, from the debut album, FACE, flows like water, and you can even hear liquid being poured at the end. It’s giving water signs through and through.
Aries – ‘Face-off’
If we had a nickel for every time a Jimin song had carnival music in it, we’d have, well, several nickels by now, right? But the original is FACE‘s opener, ‘Face-off.’ Its intense and bold energy meant that it could only be paired with a fire sign, and the rebelliousness meant that it simply had to be Aries.

Taurus – ‘Slow Dance’
Yeah, we all know Tauruses are stubborn and love to eat, but they can be more than that, too! Taurus placements are also known for being loyal and warm-hearted, which makes them the perfect match for Jimin’s duet, ‘Slow Dance,’ from MUSE. It’s a classic, cutesy, romantic pop song, and we basically demand that you grab your Taurus friends and ‘Slow Dance’ to this track right now.
Gemini – ‘Interlude: Showtime’
‘Interlude: Showtime’ is lowkey chaos. Do you know what else is chaotic? Having Gemini placements (sorry to SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi). The song builds from where the gospel track ‘Rebirth (Intro)’ left off, building into a marching band and carnival soundtrack, not unlike the interlude from FACE, complete with screaming crowd noises. Tying together ‘Rebirth (Intro)’ and ‘Smeraldo Garden Marching Band’ together is no small feat and one that only versatile Geminis could mirror.
Cancer – ‘Closer Than This’
‘Closer Than This’ is arguably the most earnest song in Jimin’s catalog, and Cancer signs are known for this trait, too! We’d bet that most Cancerian ARMYs were instantly drawn to this track for Jimin’s heart-on-his-sleeve fondness towards fans. Although…now that we think about it… aren’t all ARMYs Cancerian on some level, seeing as our fandom birthday is July 9th?!
Leo – ‘Smeraldo Garden Marching Band’
We reckon it’s every Leo’s secret dream to have a marching band follow them wherever they go, right? MUSE’s pre-release single sees Jimin unite again with his core writing/producing team, fondly known as the ‘Smeraldo Garden Marching Band.’ A ‘Smeraldo’ flower might represent the truth untold, but we’ll tell this truth over and over again: we’re completely in love with this song.
Virgo – ‘Rebirth (Intro)’
The build-up and gospel choir in ‘Rebirth (Intro)’ are out of this world, which is why it’s ironic that we’ve paired it with an earth sign! However, this song simply had to be Virgo because of the dedication to proving oneself, and being recognized for it; “If I’m tryna be special.”
Libra – ‘Who’
Now, we celebrate MUSE‘s title track with the most indecisive zodiac sign, Libra. The song is literally a question – ‘Who’ – and we all know that Libras can be as inquisitive as they are indecisive. They’re also known to be fickle, and after a whole album of Jimin claiming he’s ready to discover his true love, he slightly backtracks in this song. Air signs can relate!
Also, we get bonus points for matching MUSE‘s title track with Jimin’s actual sun sign, thank you!
Scorpio – ‘Be Mine’
We’re gonna go ahead and assume you predicted this pairing, right? Afrobeat-influenced MUSE b-side ‘Be Mine’ is sensual and seductive, so of course it had to be Scorpio. The water sign is known for its intensity and possessiveness, and with lyrics demanding “I want you to be mine,” this couldn’t have been any other pairing.
Sagittarius – ‘Set Me Free Pt.2’
If there’s one thing every Sagittarius hates, it’s feeling trapped or pinned down. If this is you, we’ll guarantee you’ll be obsessed with ‘Set Me Free Pt.2,’ if you’re not already! This track was the signal flare that began Jimin’s official solo career, and once again it’s that defiance we love in a fire sign. Also, “Going insane to stay sane,” has big Sag energy, and we won’t apologize for it.
Capricorn – ‘Alone’
Sorry, but even from the title, ‘Alone’ is giving us earth sign. Capricorn placements are always in a crisis – “Mayday, get me out of here,” – and trying to convince themselves that “It’s gonna be alright.” The perseverance and melancholy is so Cap, no cap. (Sorry).
Aquarius – ‘Like Crazy’
Last, but definitely not least, it’s the title track from Jimin’s first album, FACE. ‘Like Crazy’ is provocative and changeable, just like our final zodiac sign, Aquarius. This sign is also known for the juxtaposition of being sociable but distant, which is exactly the story in ‘Like Crazy.’ Plus, we bet quirky Aquarians will love this retro 80s aesthetic.
So there you have it – each of Jimin’s official solo songs matched up with a zodiac sign. Which tracks are your big 3? And which song from Jimin’s new album MUSE is your fave? Let us know in the comments below, or tell us over on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!
