If there’s something that you have to know about BTS, it’s that they always have something up their sleeves to surprise ARMYs. This time, Jimin is giving us a new album that we know is going to be our obsession this summer! Its name is MUSE, and it will be released on July 19th. It will include seven songs (of course) that will take us through Jimin’s journey to find his source of inspiration.
We are so excited to check this project out! We still listen to FACE daily, as we can’t get over how great it is, and we know that MUSE will blow us out of the water. To celebrate that we’re getting new Jimin tracks that will make us speechless, we decided to go over his discography and find six pieces that have inspired us in one way or another. Jimin is a complete star, and we’re so thankful that he has such an incredible song roster. He is definitely our MUSE!
‘Set Me Free Pt.2’ – Ready To Conquer The World
When we press play on this song, we feel unstoppable. From “raising the fist for the past me” to “my prime time has begun,” ‘Set Me Free Pt. 2’ showed us how Jimin was ready to do a brilliant solo artist kickoff. This pre-release single is still a timeless track that reminds us that we can come back from the ground even better than we were before. Jimin’s aura with this single is truly unmatched, and believe us when we say we are speechless every time we watch the music video. Who else can do it like him? FACE is such a great and vulnerable project, and we can’t wait to see what our musical genius has prepared for MUSE.
‘Friends’ – Soulmates Are Eternal
Imagine loving your friendship with someone so much that you have to write a masterpiece about how you want to be soulmates forever. Jimin and Taehyung can relate! This duet in MAP OF THE SOUL : 7 reminds us that their bond is unbreakable, with verses that talk about different experiences that they have lived together throughout the years. ARMYs know how much they love each other, making this b-side incredibly special. ‘Friends’ makes us feel so grateful that they have one another, and it makes us adore our closest friendships even more!
‘Serendipity’ – Expressing Our Love In The Sweetest Way
This track is one of the most romantic and unforgettable songs of BTS’ discography, so we obviously had to include it on this list! The lyrics included in the intro for Love Yourself: 承 Her make our heart grow a thousand times their original size. ‘Serendipity’ has shown us how we can say “I love you” in the most gorgeous way possible. We are big believers in how destiny works to meet our favorite people, so being able to press play on such an amazing track is a dream come true. Can we tell Jimin that he is the penicillin that has saved us?
‘Promise’ – Jimin Is Always By Our Side
A real classic in our comforting playlists. We instantly associate Jimin with the word ‘Promise,’ and we feel safe every time we listen to this song. As we close our eyes and take a deep breath while listening to Jimin’s angelic voice, we can assure ourselves that everything is going to be okay. This cute track reminds us of the many times that he has advised us to stay warm during the winter so that we don’t catch a cold. Plus, he has always kept his promises to ARMYs, as he wants us to cherish and have a good time with him and the rest of his dearest members. We are so grateful to have this little gem so close to our hearts!

‘Letter’ – Being An ARMY = Being Loved
Discovering this hidden track when FACE was released was like finding precious treasure. Jimin can write beautiful poetry, especially if he’s conveying his love for ARMYs. He poured his entire heart into this song, with verses as gorgeous as “If we were together, even the desert could turn to a sea.” ‘Letter’ is as beloved as the kind soul that created it. Jimin truly knows how to make the world around us come to a halt and admire how great it is to love and support BTS.
We’re so happy we got to enjoy the live version of this track last FESTA! We will keep dreaming of hearing it with Jimin on stage soon. Can you imagine how amazing that would be?
‘Closer Than This’ – Nothing Between BTS And ARMYs Has Changed
We miss Jimin every single day, but going through his songs with this list has made us miss him even more. Especially right now, when we’re about to mention how ‘Closer Than This‘ makes us emotional. Our angel gave us this single last Christmas, and it was the best present we could’ve received! As we can see in the music video, Jimin created this song when he was creating FACE, and he wanted to ensure that we shouldn’t worry about BTS’ enlistment. The future will be even brighter for the group and the fans once they’re reunited again, and this track confirms it. We can’t wait to see our seven back together! Until then, we are counting down the days for our reunion, and thankfully, they are flying by as we have Jin back with us! 💜
