Pixie Lott – ‘Somebody’s Daughter’

There is simply no better way to start off a new music round-up than with new Pixie Lott music! ‘Somebody’s Daughter’ marks Pixie’s first solo song of the year (she collaborated with Chapter & Verse back in April) and is one hell of a comeback track. After hearing this track we are eagerly awaiting what we hope is an upcoming full-length project!

What we are watching unfold is a solo career that is going to be beyond huge. The songwriting/understanding of the intricacies of pop music on display with just her first two songs shows that.

Ariana Grande With Brandy & Monica – the boy is mine (Remix)

Just when we thought ‘the boy is mine’ couldn’t get better, Ariana went and remixed it with two of the most iconic artists of all time, Brandy and Monica. We always love a good remix, but this may just be one of our favorites of the year so far, a perfect nostalgia punch. This may have made ‘the boy is mine’ jump to being our favorite track off of eternal sunshine.
