We love to see artists staying true to themselves and knowing when something has served its purpose and run its course, and The Bridge serves as that point of crossing. Maren is honoring what was and what is to come, and it’s truly such a beautiful thing. These two tracks are as honest and real as it gets; we are really seeing such a raw piece of Maren Morris as an artist and as a human. We just had to break these tracks down with you guys individually.

‘The Tree’
‘The Tree’ so beautifully captures Maren’s draw to leave the country music world. Stating that “The rot at the roots is the root of the problem” paints a picture as clear as day. There’s a beautiful lesson hidden in these words, which is that if something is no longer nourishing you, it’s okay to walk away.
‘Get The Hell Out Of Here”
We think that ‘Get The Hell Out Of Here’ is a beautiful final nail in the coffin built purely out of self-love and realization. The theme of this EP seems to be doing what’s best for yourself, and that is something we can one hundred percent get behind.
