We are OG Alec Benjamin fans here at THP. We’re talking about watching him play in a hallway at a hotel during PressPlay OG. We’ve been here for the long haul. And truly, we couldn’t be more proud of the artist who we’re writing about today. Watching people all around the world fall in love with Alec’s artistry has been the greatest joy. He has transformed as an artist over the years, leading us here to his latest single, and we can’t wait any longer to gush about ‘King Size Bed’ with all of you!

After listening to ‘King Size Bed’ (on a loop for hours on end) we are convinced that we’ve heard our new favorite Alec Benjamin song. There is such artistic growth within the lyrics, vocal delivery, and all-around musicality of the track. When we look back on songs like ‘End of the Summer’ or ‘Water Fountain,’ we see the building blocks being there, even way back then. Alec is destined for superstardom, all you need to do to understand that is listen to his discography and see him live.
‘King Size Bed’ is a triumph, and we are (not so) patiently waiting for the next full-length project to be released. And we’re hoping ‘King Size Bed’ is going to be a part of it! We would love to see this story unfold even more, and this musical direction be further explored.
