We are kicking off this week’s new music round-up with one of our favorites, Eden Rain! Eden is making some of the best music being put out, and we need all of you to be tuning in! ‘Figure it out’ has quickly shot up to being one of our favorite songs Eden has released; the tracks beg for unity, beg for the subject to be able to just figure things out and spot fighting. It’s a message that many of us can relate to.

Saweetie – ‘My Best’
No one is going to get us in the mood to have the best time like Saweetie; it’s that simple! ‘My Best’ is a full-on self-love anthem, letting everyone know that people who mistreat you don’t deserve you at your best, and that’s the energy we need to carry with us at all times.

Mae Stephens – Securely Insecure
This is not a drill!!! We have a new Mae Stephens EP to gush over! Securely Insecure is a four-track EP, which would usually feel short to us but comes in at such a sweet spot with the story Mae is able to tell. That just shows how incredible her writing is!! We had a hard time picking a favorite track on the EP as they all play such a vital part, but ‘Small Town Syndrome’ is the current front-runner!

Maude Latour – ‘Whirlpool’
Everyone needs to bow down to pop princess Maude Latour! With each track, Maude has released leading up to her debut (!!!) album, Sugar Water, there have been individual masterclasses on crafting songs within the sub-genres of pop music. While we have loved every song that has been this year by Maude, ‘Whirlpool’ is a clear standout. We keep going back and listening over and over.

Maren Morris – Intermission
Any chance to gush about Maren Morris and we are taking it! Time and time again, Maren has proved that she is able to make timeless music about her emotions and experiences in real-time; it’s a paradox. The tracks on Intermission feel so specific to her life while still being able to feel like they were written specifically for us. That relatability is something that will have her fans (like us) sticking around for years to come.
Our favorite track on the EP is ‘because, of course.’

Ashe – ‘I Wanna Love You (But I Don’t) ‘ & ‘I hope you die first’
We could write an essay on how much we love these two new Ashe releases, but for the sake of keeping this round-up short and sweet, we will just say that we think Ashe is making the best music of her career! We know, we know, that’s big praise! But hey, it’s well warranted, which you will see for yourself after one listen-through. This new era of Ashe is one you’re going to want to be tuned in for.

Mimi Webb – ‘Erase You’
We have been massive fans of Mimi and her ability to craft a perfect pop track ever since ‘House on Fire,’ so getting to see that her understanding of the genre has only evolved and that the writing has only gotten better is such a treat. ‘Erase You’ is easily our new post-breakup anthem. We are in our healed era!

You all already know how we feel about Olivia O’Brien; that is our girl! Truly, we feel like throughout her whole career, she has been making some of the best written and mixed pop music in the game! ‘out of your league (but i want u so bad)’ is the perfect song to soundtrack any summer car rides with the windows down, it’s the ideal vibe.

Sarah Kinsley – ‘Realms’
We are ending this week’s round-up with an artist who we think is going to be a huge name in the industry in no time: Sarah Kinsley! Sarah is finishing off 2024 with a bang; from a headlining tour to her debut album, there is going to be plenty of content to consume! If ‘Realms’ is an indicator of what we can expect from Escaper, Sarah’s debut album, then the sky is truly the limit.
