Xdinary Heroes’ ‘Save me’ Is Saving Us

It hasn’t even been a month since the release of ‘LOVE and FEAR,’ but Xdinary Heroes are already back to bless us with a new digital single. We had the bright pop-rock sound with ‘Boy Comics,’ and the complete opposite with the hard-hitting rock sound of ‘LOVE and FEAR.’ And ‘Save Me’ sets itself once again apart from both of these songs, showcasing Xdinary Heroes’ incredible range. And this might be one of Xdinary Heroes’ best songs yet.

‘Save me’

‘Save Me’ is a vulnerable pop-rock song that showcases some of Xdinary Heroes’ most beautiful, heartbreaking, and simply greatest lyrics. The mixture of the seemingly upbeat instrumental with the melancholic and emotional melodies and lyrics make ‘Save me’ a true masterpiece. They explore the feelings of being lost, not seeing a way out of nostalgia and pain. But ‘Save me’ is also full of resilience as they look for a way out. This new digital single is truly a masterpiece everyone needs in their lives, and it elevates Xdinary Heroes‘ discography to a whole other level. This song’s intense and complex feelings can only serve as comfort to know you’re not alone in your struggle.

This time, to portray their song the best, Xdinary Heroes opted for an animation lyric video as the official music video for ‘Save me.’ And it’s gorgeous. As Xdinary Heroes showcase their beautiful vocals and their talent as musicians through the song, the music video leads us through the journey of a lost hero as he tries to find himself through ruins. The stunning animations portray loneliness and the essence of ‘Save me’ in the most gorgeous way.

With the third digital single, we also got a third piece of the puzzle with ‘XH_waves_75,’ following the pattern of each puzzle representing one of the four elements – this time, water. And only one piece is missing from the Open ♭eta project: fire. Seeing that each digital single just keeps getting better and there is clearly no limit to Xdinary Heroes‘ genius music, we are already shaking in excitement for what’s next.
