&TEAM give some of the best performances in the music industry. In this essay, we have, we will, and we will again….
No, in all seriousness, despite the fact they’re still a relatively new group (two years since debut), &TEAM never seems out of place on stage. From ferocious to cute, they can embody literally any concept. As a global group, crossing over between K-Pop and J-Pop, there’s really no limit to what &TEAM is capable of. And, as certified LUNÉ, it’s our duty to show you exactly what you’re missing out on by not stanning them already!
‘Really Crazy (Costume Vers.)’
We begin with the newest performance, and whilst we might be starting our list here, trust us that this &TEAM video is not like anything else you’ll see today. &TEAM released this cutesy version of fan-favorite b-side ‘Really Crazy’ as part of their 2nd anniversary celebrations. Most of them are dressed as their emoji counterparts, and then you have K dressed as a cow in honor of the Kow meme… it’s a long story.
‘Under the skin’ On Studio Choom
See, we weren’t joking when we said the majority of &TEAM’s performances are not like ‘Really Crazy.’ And what would a performance list be without a Studio Choom appearance? Debuting with a song like ‘Under the skin,’ and a concept as heartfelt, grungy, and emotionally-driven as this, is something only &TEAM could pull off.
‘War Cry’ At The MAMAs 2023
2023 was &TEAM’s first full year, and oh boy they filled it with iconic moments. One of those was &TEAM’s first performance at the MAMAs, which was held in Tokyo, making it all the more poignant for a group based in both Korea and Japan. They absolutely killed this extended version of the brand new (at the time) ‘War Cry,’ complete with a dance intro by eldest member K and a dance break with the whole team. Bonus points if you spot any familiar faces in the backing dancers…
‘RUN’ On K-909
Anytime a group covers BTS, you know they’ve got some big shoes to fill. Luckily, &TEAM pulls it off! Given the group’s history with BTS (Fuma was a backing dancer for them, BTS visited when some of the members were on i-Land, some of the members became trainees because of BTS), this performance becomes all the more poignant! Plus, this choreography and styling is the perfect way to showcase just how in sync &TEAM can be.
‘Firework’ Performance Video
We’re pretty sure we’d get our LUNÉ status revoked if we didn’t include this clip, TBH. For the Korean version of ‘Firework’ (literally one of the greatest songs ever, BTW), &TEAM released this performance video. It’s hard to imagine a video doing justice to how incredible this song is, or how astonishing the choreography is, but somehow this video does it!
‘Scar To Scar’ At Weverse Con 2024
Hearing “And. Team. Go,” live revolutionised our lives, and it’s about time it did the same for you. If you’ve been watching the clips we’ve recommended and enjoyed &TEAM’s power and synchronicity, then you will love this even more. ‘Scar To Scar’ brings out another level of intensity from the group, and this particular video shows just how good their vocals can be even when they’re performing this hard. Side note: we’re also never, ever, going to get over these outfits.
‘Buzz Love’ Dance Practice
We always love an &TEAM dance practice, but this one is a little different than the rest. Usually, when dancers this talented are showcasing their talents, they focus on power and intensity. &TEAM are certainly not strangers to that either! But this time, they spotlight their precision and use of props, with those super cute hand-drawn scenes.
‘GENTO’ With SB19 At The AAAs 2023
A cultural reset of the truest sense. P-Pop, K-Pop, and J-Pop combine in one performance. &TEAM join icons SB19 for ‘GENTO,’ one of the most viral songs of 2023. If you don’t know it, we guarantee your favorite idol does. We’d obviously recommend you check out the whole performance, but if you just wanna see &TEAM, they join at around the 5:10 mark.
‘ALIEN’ Live Clip
Can we have another moment to celebrate &TEAM’s vocals? This is definitely a more understated moment from the teamies, and we love how it shows their versatility when paired up with some of the more on-brand performances from this list. ‘ALIEN’ is a fan-favorite b-side, and it’s not hard to see why. Also, Nicholas’ rap sends us into the stratosphere. That is all.
‘Road Not Taken’ Official Music Video
Ok, so this is technically a music video, but trust us that it’s more a performance than anything else. It’s a tough call (as you can probably tell by this list), but we’re going to make it: ‘Road Not Taken’ is &TEAM’s best choreography. They literally flip, climb over each other, and sing upside down. And this was a b-side? From their first comeback?! Insane.
Can we be honest? It literally pained us to choose just ten &TEAM performances to share with you. We have to give honorary shout-outs to the OT9 version of ‘W.O.L.F.,’ their legendary collab stage with ENHYPEN (yes, they did perform ‘Into The i-Land’), their appearances on First Take, and so many more.
