It’s that time again! TXT has announced a new comeback, AKA it’s time for MOAs to be in their Sherlock Holmes era again. With the announcement of their 7th mini album, The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY, TXT is embarking on new territory and a new chapter of their lore.
All of this, of course, means MOAs are in uncharted waters too. Since we had our full circle moment with ‘Deja Vu’ earlier this year, this new era could be headed in any direction. One thing that hasn’t changed though, is that TXT has already dropped comeback details and plenty of hints about where this new adventure will take us. We’ve done our best to make this easy for you, so here is everything we know (and some predictions!) about SANCTUARY so far!
The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY
Previews on digital pre-orders seem to show that The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY will contain six tracks, TXT’s longest mini-album since The Dream Chapter: ETERNITY. We also have a couple of clues about who, in addition to TXT and their in-house collaborators, might have worked on this project. The likes of Dem Jointz (BTS, aespa, EXO) have been celebrating the album announcement online, leading us to think we might get the iconic “Incoming!” producer tag on a SANCTUARY track!
Lore References
As we know, TXT has some of the richest, most intricate lore in K-Pop. Seemingly nothing is ever left to chance. We, and some other eagle-eyed MOA, have spotted plenty of references that make us wonder just how far TXT and BIGHIT MUSIC have this all mapped out…
To start, the logo motion and official announcement of The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY was released on October 7th. You may remember that one of the concepts for TXT’s first comeback, The Dream Chapter: MAGIC, was called ‘SANCTUARY,’ but do you remember when it was released? You guessed it, October 7th, 2019. Even the train on TXT’s ACT: PROMISE stage set was numbered ‘107!’
There are honestly so many clues and spoilers that we may or may not be reading too much into, that we had to just quickly list them for you:
- In the ‘Nap of a Star’ music video, TXT’s horns (also referencing ‘CROWN’) begin to grow at the 107-second mark (107 = October 7th).
- The lyric “Call my name” also appears at 107 seconds in the ‘Run Away’ music video, and we’ve just finished The Name Chapter.
- The five pieces of the star forming together is the reverse of The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE‘s logo, and references the five members coming together to form TXT.
- The crystal stars in the new logo are similar to the props in The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION‘s ‘Lullaby’ concept.
- The Dream Chapter: ETERNITY had a ‘Starboard’ concept; one of the album inclusions for SANCTUARY is a star-board.
- The color palette is the same as TXT’s magical tears in the ‘Deja Vu’ music video.
- In a ment during ACT: SWEET MIRAGE, Soobin said “The world is a tough place, but you are our sanctuary.” Cue our screams then and now!
- The hidden names for the album track previews (more on that later) look like they could say ‘Heaven’ or ‘Higher Than Heaven;’ Beomgyu said in an interview with GQ recently that he’s been working on a song called ‘Heaven.’
Moreover, stars have been a massive motif throughout TXT’s discography – after all, they literally debuted with The Dream Chapter: STAR. You can find stars in most of their music videos, tour VCRs, merch, and so much more.

Preparations
In their recent Weverse Live, TXT confirmed that they’ve finished preparations for SANCTUARY! They’ve recorded everything, learned the choreography, and even filmed a music video. In fact, they filmed it on the day Yeonjun promoted ‘GGUM’ on MCountdown, once again showing just how impressive the group’s work ethic is.
Promotions
buses, the florists
The promo for this album is already going crazy! For a start, three days before the album was even announced, a new official TXT Instagram account opened. sxnctxxry_1104 posted pictures of Yeonjun and one of the album covers, and none of us even realized…
Instagram isn’t the only way that TXT is reaching their fans across the globe; they’ve also set up phone numbers for MOA to call and hear voicemails from the members to celebrate the announcement. And, of course, it isn’t just virtual celebrations. In TXT’s home city, Seoul, there are already plenty of IRL promotions! The group has partnered with independent florist Beatles Bank to invite 500 lucky MOAs to the space, and experience “fragrant gifts and messages prepared by TXT.”
And if you’re not one of the lucky 500, but find yourself in Seoul any time soon, then there are also posters on buses and bus stops with handwritten messages from the members. The notes are all super sweet and romantic, such as Taehyun’s “as long as you’re there, no matter what place it is, feels like heaven,” so basically we’re terrified for the SANCTUARY concepts.
