‘Mine’ has always been one of the first songs we think of when we think of love songs in Taylor’s discography. This song chronicles that feeling of being truly loved. Truly expected. It’s that feeling of your first love or a love that feels so infused with puppy love energy that it feels like a first love.

‘Sweet Nothing’ is full of understated, yet just as equally love-filled lyrics as the other lyrics we’ve mentioned. There’s a lot of beauty in the ordinary, in the silence, in the sweet nothings. We think celebrating the seemingly mundane ways that love is shown on Valentine’s Day should be more normalized.

We simply have to include one of our favorite love songs from The Tortured Poets Department, ‘The Alchemy.’ This song is about trusting and not ignoring fate. About seeing what’s in front of you and chasing it instead of running away from it, and that is the energy we are putting out this Valentine’s Day!
