James Bay closed the Europe & UK leg of his Up All Night tour, in London at none other than Wembley OVO arena. It was only fitting to open the show with ‘Up All Night’ and end it with ‘Hold Back The River.’ If you think you don’t know any of James Bay’s music, we can promise that you know ‘Hold Back The River.’

First things first, the lighting throughout the show was incredible. It captured the folky-poppy-almost rocky essence of James Bay. We went into it expecting a sort of mellow show, a nice relaxed, laid-back moment, but we couldn’t have been more wrong (for the most part). The energy was high from the second James walked out on stage. He teased everyone by not singing for a moment, just standing there, building anticipation.
You already know we got the inside scoop of this show. We aim to give you at least a little bit of that FOMO feeling with every article. James Bay’s show is no different. You had to be there, if you weren’t you have to be there next time. It’s a guaranteed good time.
James was joined on stage by Myles Smith to perform ‘Let It Go,’ which is a collaboration only dreams are made of. The show was just the perfect way to not only close a leg of tour, but to enter into Valentine’s Day. He’s now off for a little while before taking on his South Africa and American legs of the tour. This is just a reminder, or a heads up, that you should probably buy tickets. Or at the very least, watch from some grainy livestreams. The Up All Night tour is not one you want to miss.
Everything from the lighting to the guests, to the iconic hat he always wears. Every little thing was just flawless, the mic was ON! James was so interactive with the crowd also, he just looked so happy to be there and to be doing what he loved. People showed up dressed to the nines for this show, with signs and banners. It was just the place to be in London, to go out on a date, or to take a friend or to even go alone, we are advocates for going to concerts alone. Add a James Bay concert to your bucket list, immediately.
