Soundcheck Recap: Sabrina Carpenter, Backstreet Boys, And More!

From Sabrina Carpenter mapping out every corner of the globe with a ‘Juno’ position to embracing our full 2000s angst era with The All-American Rejects, this week’s Soundcheck Recap is serving all the vibes — so let’s dive in, shall we?

Sabrina Carpenter

Sabrina Carpenter sure knows how to keep ticket sales Short N’ Sweet. After her first BST Hyde Park date sold out in a blink, she’s swiping on that lipstick and stepping up to the mic once more, headlining Sunday, July 6th. No height restrictions on the guest list, though—Clairo and Olivia Dean are already on board, with plenty more surprises in store. Tickets are on sale now, and given that even the royal guards couldn’t resist her Brit Awards charm, we’d wager you’ll want to snag a pair faster than they can crack a smile.

Short N’ Sweet Tour

Can’t make that date but still itching to stitch Sabrina’s iconic Brit Awards brooch—the one with the regal SB heart—onto your concert fit? No worries, just give it an American glow-up! Swap the crown for Lady Liberty because Sabrina’s bringing Short N’ Sweet stateside for a second U.S. leg. And when we say she’s taking over Madison Square Garden, we mean it—three shows this time, plus nine more across the country.

As for the company she’s keeping? Amber Mark is in for the full ride, with Olivia Dean and Ravyn Lenae tagging in on select dates. And because you obviously need the 4-1-1, pre-sale kicks off with a bang (eager to rival Sabrina’s blowout) on March 4th at 10 a.m. local time, followed by general sales—aka your second shot—on March 7th at the same time. Set those alarms!

The Backstreet Boys

Ever found yourself serenading the ticket queue with ‘I Want It That Way’ when you’ve got your heart set on a certain package? Well, warm up those vocal cords because The Backstreet Boys just added three more dates to their Sphere Summer 2025 Residency! Mark your calendars for August 15th–17th, bringing their total to a spectacular 18 shows. And the best part? They’re making history as the first pop act to take over the Sphere in Las Vegas. Tickets are already on sale, with travel packages available, so dust off your best early 2000s look and get ready to time-warp back to Backstreet.

Somewhere Festival

Suki Waterhouse may have lulled us into a greyscale trance with ‘Dream Woman,’ but the best place to see her in full technicolor? Somewhere Festival, obviously. After making its debut last year as Elsewhere Festival, this newcomer has already sunk its teeth into the live music scene—and it’s back for round two in Downtown Wichita, KS, on June 13th-14th. That’s two days of pure, unfiltered festival magic. Want in? Click here to learn more and snag your tickets before they disappear into the dreamscape.

Tyler, The Creator

Ever wanted to flex your chopstick skills in front of Tyler, The Creator? Well, you just might get the chance if you catch him on the Asian dates for CHROMAKOPIA: THE WORLD TOUR. Just be sure to perfect your technique by September because he’s touching down in Tokyo on the 9th, wrapping up in Manila on the 20th, and slurping his way through Seoul and Bangkok in between.

But here’s the deal: ticket sales are split. If Bangkok or Manila is calling your name, set your sights on March 5th at 12 p.m. local time. Dreaming of Tokyo? You’ll need to be ready on March 20th at 6 p.m. JST. Mark your calendars—this is one feast you don’t want to miss.

The All-American Rejects

There’s nothing to reject about this one — the band best known for spilling all their ‘Dirty Little Secrets’ just couldn’t keep this one under wraps any longer. That’s right, The All-American Rejects are hitting the road with Vans Warped Tour for its epic 30th anniversary. Talk about a reunion tour and a nostalgia trip. This marks their sixth Warped appearance, throwing us all the way back to 2003 — an era when most of the lineup (hi, Bowling for Soup) was busy soundtracking our awkward teenage years. Can’t make that one? No sweat—they’ll also be shaking out at Shaky Knees Fest in Atlanta from September 19th to 21st. (That’s this year, by the way, in case your sense of time is still stuck in the early 2000s.) For all the details (and maybe a trip down memory lane), head to their website.

Five

Because it’s 2025, of course the Noughties legends Five are making a comeback — it’s basically destiny. After 25 years off the scene, the lads are finally reuniting for a tour, and they’re leaning all the way into nostalgia by naming it after their iconic banger, ‘Keep On Movin’.’ Yes, you heard right — all five original members (Abz Love, J Brown, Ritchie Neville, Scott Robinson, and Sean Conlon) are back and ready to storm across Europe this October. Chaos is guaranteed, and we’re giving you a heads-up before the ticket stampede kicks off — they officially go on sale this Friday, March 7th, at 10 a.m. sharp. But if you’re a real one (and we know you are), you’ll want to be all over the pre-sale happening on March 5th. Get yourself signed up here and prepare for some serious finger-on-the-mouse action.

Music Will

Looks like Sara Bareilles is about to write Music Will a ‘Love Song’ — not because they begged for it, but because they’re rolling out the red carpet in her honor (along with fellow icons ‘Somebody’s Baby’ himself Jackson Browne, ‘Sweetest Girl (Dollar Bill)’ hitmaker Wyclef Jean, and Broadway queen Wicked’s Kristin Chenoweth). The celebration’s going down at none other than Gotham Hall in New York City on April 9th — where even Lady Liberty herself would give this lineup a standing ovation (if her arms were free). Tickets are already up for grabs, so snag yours here.

BANKS

Looks like BANKS took the Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ ‘Heads Will Roll’ a little too literally — she’s gone full queen of hearts, yanking off a sculpted head to dangle from her fingers for her new album Off With Her Head. Artistic? Absolutely. Concerning? Maybe a little. Don’t worry, though. We’ve got a friendly PSA: Please leave your own head-snatching antics at home for her just-announced North American tour. The madness kicks off June 4th in Seattle, WA, and keeps the vibes going until June 27th in Minneapolis, MN — with plenty of stops (and zero decapitations, we hope) along the way. General sale happens this Friday, March 7th, at local time, so sharpen those reflexes and get ready to grab your tickets.
