Springtime has arrived! Well, close enough. THP’s book team has been busy keeping up with the newest book and audiobook releases all month. Today, we wanted to highlight new spring book releases from Rowan Prose Publishing, a small, women-owned boutique publisher of genre fiction.

Piper, Kerrie, and Maude work for the same greeting card company that revolves around writing sappy, super-in-love cards. (You see the irony, right?) They help one another overcome their heartbreak and learn that there’s more to life than being with a man. Our first spring book recommendation is already out, so be sure to get your copy!

A Murderer Among Us By Marilyn Levinson
The next spring book on our list is a murder mystery with a very unsuspecting cover. Marilyn Levinson’s A Murderer Among Us follows Lydia Krause, a widow starting a new life at a Long Island retirement community. She becomes the prime suspect of a murder investigation after a heated exchange with the victim the day prior. Determined to clear her name, Lydia joins forces with Detective Sol Molina to find the killer before she becomes the next target.

Atlantis Rising By Amy Cip
We always love making book roundups where there’s something for everyone. Atlantis Rising by Amy Cip is a sci-fi fantasy about the lost city of Atlantis and a girl with the ability to lift its curse. Ember Weathers has been running her parents’ bookstore after an accident left them both dead and her sister in long-term care. Bonus: The Art Of Overthinking By Ellen Zheng
Technically, this book doesn’t release in the spring, but we couldn’t help adding it to our list! Ellen Zheng’s The Art of Overthinking is a contemporary romance set in New York City about a teenage girl battling the standards of her elite high school. Isla Wu is an American-born Chinese girl with Ivy League-sized goals and a creeping numbness in her mind. After a not-so-meet-cute with the new guy at school, Isla grapples with her growing crush and overthinking habits. She questions everything she thought she knew, especially with her mental health.
