Festival season is in full swing, and one lineup we’ve been anticipating is Outside Lands. Happening the weekend of August 8 this year, Outside Lands is going to take over San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park with incredible acts that we seriously could not believe were on the lineup. Did someone say Doechii and Doja Cat and Gracie Abrams?? All in one weekend? We’re definitely gonna need that VIP ticket…
So, now that we have the official lineup in hand, we can start making our weekend schedules. Here are the acts we’re most excited about and which songs we’re hoping to hear.
Hozier
Surprisingly, Hozier made the cut for this year’s Outside Lands lineup. Don’t get us wrong, we’re so excited! But this was definitely a pleasant surprise. Hozier never fails to put on an incredible live performance, and we know his performance in the San Francisco fog is going to be no different. This year, we’re hoping to hear ‘Empire Now,’ ‘Jackie and Wilson,’ and ‘Northern Attitude.’ Yes, we are manifesting a Noah Kahan surprise performance.

Tyler, The Creator
In 2024, Tyler, The Creator had to pull out of Outside Lands last minute. His set time was replaced by Sabrina Carpenter, who put on a show-stopping performance. This year, Tyler is back to reclaim his spot! You can find us on the barricade wearing our CHROMOKOPIA merch and crying to every song. Speaking of songs, we’re hoping to hear ‘NEW MAGIC WAND,’ ‘Balloon (feat. Doechii),’ and ‘EARFQUAKE.’

Doja Cat
Girl, don’t even play with us. If there’s one set we have to see, no expectations made, it’s Doja Cat’s. Doja is a performer through and through, and we have no doubts that she’s going to be the best set of the weekend. We can see it now—insane costumes, a full rotating stage, backup dancers, and maybe a surprise song or two. Out of all the amazing songs she’s released, crossing our fingers to hear ‘Need To Know,’ ‘Ouchies,’ and ‘Ain’t Sh**.’

John Summit
Yes, the lineup is just getting better and better. John Summit is about to take us to church! The vibes are about to be so high, and we’re grabbing all our besties and making sure they’re gonna be there for this monumental moment. Even though we know the entire set is going to be incredible, with stunning visuals to match, we’re hoping to hear ‘EAT THE BASS,’ ‘Where You Are,’ and his latest drop, ‘light years.’

Anderson .Paak
This set is gonna go so hard. There’s truly nothing that Anderson .Paak can’t do, and we know he’s going to bring his all to Outside Lands this year. He’s been making music for so long that we’d be satisfied with any song he sings, but we really really really hope he brings out Bruno Mars for a Silk Sonic moment. That would go down in the music festival history books. Other than that, we’re hoping to hear ‘Am I Wrong’ and all our other faves from the Malibu album.

Gracie Abrams
Gracie! Abrams! Oh! My! God! Guys, we seriously cannot believe this! Clearly, we are a little too excited about Gracie Abrams being on this lineup. Like many people in the audience, we will be crying tears of joy hearing Gracie play some of our favorite songs like ‘Close To You’ and ‘That’s So True.’ We’re gonna remember this moment forever!

FINNEAS
We almost fainted. Nothing, and we mean nothing, is going to stop us from being barricade for FINNEAS’ set. This is a must-see, no matter what we have to do to get in the door. FINNEAS knows how to put on an amazing live show with his talented band, and from our point of view, we can confidently say that Outside Lands is lucky to have him on the lineup. Naturally, we’re hoping to hear ‘Sweet Cherries,’ ‘Only A Lifetime,’ and Angel’—what about you?

Doechii
The Swamp Princess is taking over the Bay! When Outside Lands was teasing this lineup on Instagram, we had a sneaky feeling Doechii would be on the list. This will be our first time seeing Doechii perform live, and we are so stoked! Of course, we wish she would perform all of her hit songs, but we’re most excited for ‘DENIAL IS A RIVER,’ ‘NISSAN ALTIMA,’ and of course ‘Anxiety.’

Wallows
Do we freak out now or later? This is going to change our lives for the better. Seeing Wallows in a festival setting is everything our fangirl hearts could have dreamed of, and now it’s coming true. Do we force our fellow honeybees to join us at the barricade, too? For this set, we’re hoping to hear ‘ Your Apartment,’ ‘Coffin Change,’ and ‘Your New Favorite Song.’

ROLE MODEL
It just keeps getting better and better! ROLE MODEL has been on a roll (no pun intended) since he dropped Kansas Anymore. We’ve been fans since the beginning, and we’re so grateful we’ve been able to support Tuker through all his monumental career moments. Performing at festivals? That’s definitely something to celebrate! Of course, we’re excited to hear ‘Frances,’ ‘Scumbag,’ and ‘Old Recliners.’

Our girl is joining the Outside Lands lineup! We cannot miss her performance! It was just recently announced that Rebecca Black is opening up for Katy Perry on the The Lifetimes Tour, and now is our moment to see her perform live. Yes, we’ve been waiting for this moment since we were 11 years old. From her new album, SALVATION, we’re hoping to hear ‘Do You Even Think About Me?,’ ‘Salvation,’ and ‘Sugar Water Cyanide.’
