It’s that time again! We are back with the best of what’s new in music! From Miley Cyrus, to Ed Sheeran, to Mark Ambor, it’s a stacked list! Let’s dive in!
Mimi Webb ft. Meghan Trainor – ‘Mind Reader’
‘Mind Reader’ is a strong contender for song of the summer! Mimi Webb and Meghan Trainor are both powerhouses who know the ins and outs of making a perfect pop song, and this collaboration perfectly showcases that! ‘Mind Reader’ is the exact song we already know is going to be soundtracking many of our nights out in the near future.

Ed Sheeran – ‘Old Phone’
Ed Sheeran is better than ever as he releases the second song from his Play era! ‘Old Phone’ does all of the things that Ed Sheeran has done best over his career: it beautifully tells a story and features many incredibly soft yet powerful vocal moments. Knowing that ‘Old Phone’ and ‘Azizam’ are going to exist on the same record makes us beyond excited for September 12th!

Lydia Night – ‘The Hearse’
If you’re looking for a new artist to dive into, look no further than Lydia Night! You may know of Lydia from her work with The Regrettes, but truly, this solo music is where she really shines and has stepped fully into her musical persona. ‘The Hearse’ marks Lydia’s second solo single, and already has us convinced we are watching the makings of an artist that is going to take over the industry.

Halsey & Amy Lee – ‘Hand That Feeds’
This is the collab we have always known we needed. If you were to have asked us which two artists we would most like to see collab we would have described this exact scenario to you. Halsey and Amy’s voices flow together like they were always made to be on the same track. ‘Hand That Feeds’ may just be our new entire personality.

Miley Cyrus – ‘More to Lose’
With each release from Miley’s upcoming album, Something Beautiful, we are more and more convinced that what we are witnessing is not only Miley’s best writing but also her most honest. ‘More to Lose’ is packed full of raw emotion, chronicling a situation in which Miley felt like a relationship meant more than how her partner was treating it; you can hear the hurt and confusion in her voice, which makes it all the more heartbreaking.

David Archuleta – ‘Can I Call You’
We are unbelievably lucky to be living through the true artistic rebirth of David Archuleta! The music he is currently crafting feels significantly more true to himself than anything we’ve heard in his discography thus far! ‘Can I Call You’ comes hot on the heels of ‘Créme Brulée’ and while a bit more slowed down, still fits in with that dance-sultry vibe we’re feeling like this whole era encompasses.

Mark Ambor – ‘Who Knows’
Mark Ambor is one of our musical obsessions that hasn’t gone away ever since we covered ‘Hair Toss, Arms Crossed’ back in 2022! Flash forward to being here in 2025 listening to ‘Who Knows’ and the magic in the music remains! ‘Who Knows’ is all about being recklessly optimistic, playing into the idea that you never really know where things are going to go, but it’s worth the risk.
