Our favorite Philadelphians are at it again — Grayscale is on tour in the US in preparation for their newly announced EU/UK tour, Live in Colour. They stopped by in Anaheim, California, and of course, we went to see them. How could we not?!
This is our favorite band, so you already know we were fully losing our minds the whole time. They played songs off their new album The Hart, which hit just as hard live as we hoped, and threw in some of our all-time favorites like ‘In Violet‘ and ‘Fever Dream.’ You better believe we were screaming every word at the top of our lungs.
Collin, Nick, Andrew, and Dallas never fail to bring intense chemistry. Not just with each other, but with all of us in the crowd, too. We love a band that can be silly onstage and still give a performance that feels polished and powerful from start to finish. (They’re that good, so we’re just gonna pretend we didn’t see Collin accidentally bonk Andrew on the head with the mic. Classic.)
The only downside? Eight songs were not enough. We could’ve stayed there all night, screaming along and soaking it all in. Grayscale, after you’re done taking over the EU and UK, can you prettyyyy pleaseeeee do another U.S. run? We need a full The Hart set — every single song, live, in our faces. Don’t make us beg (but also… we will).
