And after that taste we got from KANG YUCHAN through ‘Champagne Poppin’,’ we’ve been patiently anticipating more. Now, our wish materialized in the form of REBEL, and we’re beyond the clouds with joy.
Magnetic Charm
We’ve been struck by YUCHAN’s charm for a long time now, so, naturally, we’ve been ready to be blown away by his solos. And REBEL succeeded in doing exactly that. The album presented us more closely with YUCHAN’s individual style, and we have to say: we’re hooked. Dare we say, we feel ‘Close To You?’
Cue the title track for REBEL! A song that starts off with an emotional atmosphere and holds onto it until the end. Obsessed, impressed, and absolutely in love with this piece, we can’t help but want to share it with everyone. Fan or yet to be, we think music enthusiasts alike will fall for the appeal that both the track and the artist have to offer.
Will You Answer The Call?
We already mentioned ‘Champagne Poppin’ but let us do it again. It was the unexpected single and side of the artist that got us to lose our minds even more over YUCHAN. And we had a feeling he wouldn’t stop there. REBEL‘s tracklist is the proof, which leads us to this next track, a B-side that also opens the album. A piece we deem perfect for the job.
There is just something about ‘The Call Of The Wild’ that has us not normal about that song. Obsessed from one listen, we can’t seem to stop replaying the track. Perhaps this is answering the call in the best way we, as fans, can. The catchy rhythm and YUCHAN’s vocals simply drive us wild, and we just know you can agree with us. Getting lost to the beat already?
REBEL brings out a different, bolder side to YUCHAN, all the while not missing the chance to show off his beautiful vocals. Each track on the album brings out a different tone of his voice, further displaying just how talented the singer is. The last two songs on the list gradually get calmer, standing out in their own way. They deliver a different side to love and attraction, with ‘Body Talk’ giving a more sensual feel, while ‘Best For Me’ pulls on our heartstrings and moves to wrap up the album. Yet, the moment it ends, we get the urge to go back and replay it all.
