Brazilian fans are known all over the world for being incredibly passionate about who they stan, and Brazilian STAY just took that to a whole new level by giving back what Stray Kids have been giving us since 2018: great music. That’s right, B-STAY have written a song for our boys ahead of their Rock in Rio performance!
Appropriately titled ‘Still Here (For You),’ the song was put together as part of the “Stays Em Uma Só Voz” project (“Stays In A Single Voice” in rough translation) by over 50 people from all over the country, who worked on lyrics, instrumentals, vocals and even editing a video showing the beginning of the process, posted to @volta_skz_brasil on Instagram. It’s an answer to ‘Stay,’ released by Stray Kids in March 2026 as a love letter to their fans. Now, fans decided to answer with another track, from STAY to SKZ, proving once again that the bond between this group and fandom is truly one of a kind.
Their main goal is to get this song to reach Stray Kids and possibly get the crowd to sing the chorus on September 11 during their concert. The word is being spread throughout Brazilian fan spaces, group chats, social media, etc. All in an effort to make this moment as special to Stray Kids as we know it will be to every STAY in that crowd.
Naturally, that meant we couldn’t sit here and not talk about it. This beautiful project deserves as much attention as it can get, and we honestly hope this song finds the boys and that it translates just a little bit of what their fans feel when we look back to everything we’ve been through together.
Check Out The Lyrics To ‘Still Here (For You):’
You found me in the dark
So I’ll be your light now
We were just shadows in the crowd
Silent hearts, but screaming loud
Then your voices reached our souls
Mended us, made us whole
Through every scar, through every tear
You stayed with us, year by year
Now every step you’re not alone
We built a place that feels like home
If the world turns its back on you
If the nights feel too long to get through…
We’re still here, we’re still yours
Through every high, through every storm
Time can pass, but we won’t fade
Every promise that we made
Even if the lights go down
Even if you lose the sound
Call our name, we’ll be near
We’re your STAY… we’re still here
Every song you gave to us
Was a reason to trust
Every laugh, every pain
Runs inside our veins
You said we’re your shining light
But you saved us every night
So don’t you ever feel alone
Our hearts are where you belong
When your strength begins to fall
When you feel you’ve lost it all
We’re still here, we’re still yours
Through every high, through every storm
Time can pass, but we won’t fade
Every promise that we made
Even if the lights go down
Even if you lose the sound
Call our name, we’ll be near
We’re your STAY… we’re still here
Years will change, but not our hearts
Not the love that made us start
From the first note, from the pain
We would choose you all again
If the world forgets your name
We will scream it just the same
No goodbye, no end, no fear…
We’ll be forever standing here
We’re still here, we’re still yours
More than fans, we’re so much more
Eight years, and a thousand more
We’ll be waiting at your door
Even when the stars burn out
We’ll be what you sing about
Through all time, loud and clear…
We’re your STAY… we’re still here
You gave us a reason to stay…
Now we’ll never walk away
As we said, truly a work of art that could only come out of a fandom as unique and passionate as STAY. And the fact that it came from Brazilian fans shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone, after all, it’s some of the most amazing fans on Earth we’re talking about here. And despite having Brazilian Portuguese as their first language, these fans made ‘Still Here (For You)’ in English in order to make sure as many STAY all over the world could connect to the message. It’s like they’re mirroring what SKZ themselves did when they released ‘Youtiful.’
Stray Kids have given us many declarations of love for their fandom since their debut, songs like ‘Stay’ and ‘Youtiful’ truly scream how much they love the people who gave them the chance to live their dream, but this time it’s the other way around. It’s their fans telling them “hey, you did the same for us, we also owe you a lot and we won’t ever leave you” and we think that’s one of the most beautiful things that can happen in an artist-fandom relationship.
