The foggy air in San Francisco didn’t stop Claire Rosinkranz from bringing the sun to a sold-out show in the city! Fans of all ages flocked to The Independent in San Francisco to hear their favorite Claire Rosinkranz songs performed live. The intimate live-music venue on Divisadero Street was packed from wall to wall with roughly 500 people, all anxious to dance and sing with Claire all night. Off the heels of touring with Alex Warren, Claire returned to the stage, but this time as her own headliner.
Here’s how the night went down!

Stevie Bill Sets The Mood
Before Claire could take the stage, the night began with an amazing set by Stevie Bill. She walked out onto the stage with clear confidence that radiated to every corner of the venue. Dressed in a red leather crop top and black flair leggings, Stevie gave us all the 70s vibes we could ask for. Stevie introduced herself as a new resident of New York City, recently moving to the U.S. from the Netherlands to pursue her dream in singing. That dream is clearly working out well!
Some standout songs from Stevie included ‘Haha,’ ‘Hurts To Hold On,’ ‘Lalala,’ and her cover of Prince’s iconic ‘Purple Rain.’ It’s not easy to cover a song like that, and Stevie and her guitar player, Jacob (who received his own chant from fans), aced it.
Claire Opens With ‘Lucy’
To open her set, Claire sang ‘Lucy’ followed by her popular song, ‘Frankenstein.’ A great way to get fans excited! Claire walked on onstage wearing a two-piece white set under a long knitted cardigan with her beautiful blonde hair falling in waves. So Claire-coded! Her energy from the very first song got us so excited to be spending the next hour and a half with her.
Special Moments With Fans
If you plan on seeing Claire perform at any time in the near future, know one thing. She loves to interact with her fans! It doesn’t matter if you have VIP and are standing on the barricade or if you are the last fan to walk into the venue; she will make sure you feel personally seen by her. During ‘Dancer,’ fans held up small signs alluding to an inside joke with the singer. “This is amazing. Who came up with this idea?” Claire shouted in surprise. Further into the night, one fan shouted, “Play ‘Hotel!” and Claire and her band took that request seriously. As a special thank you to San Francisco, Claire sang the song for OG fans in the room. What an amazing surprise! It was so refreshing to see an artist up on stage appreciate the little moments that fans put time and effort into.
Our Favorite Moments
Our favorite Claire Rosinkranz songs are ‘Chronic’ and ‘Dancer.’ Hearing these two songs live was such a treat. ‘Chronic’ was a moment for Claire to really live in her vocals. She shone on stage, and we were completely entranced by her vocals and stage presence in this moment. We also loved the moment when Claire sat down at the piano to perform ‘My Lover.’ Surprisingly, all the quieter moments where we could really connect with Claire and the words she was singing were our favorite moments. Strip back the flashing lights and the loud guitar riffs, and you could see Claire performing as her highest self.
The Setlist
The setlist included OG favorites like ‘Backyard Boy’ and ‘Sad in Hawaii’ while also showcasing new songs from My Lover like ‘Chronic’ and ‘Bleeding Violet.’ Here’s the full setlist for Claire’s set in San Francisco:
- ‘Lucy’
- ‘Frankenstein’
- ‘Kiss’
- ‘Jayden’
- ‘Chronic’
- ‘Funeral’
- ‘Sad in Hawaii’
- ‘Screw Time’
- ‘don’t miss me’
- ‘I Wanna Be In Love So Bad’
- ‘Home’
- ‘Crazy B*tch Song’
- ‘Dancer’
- ‘Bleeding Violet’
- ‘My Lover’
- ‘Backyard Boy’
- ‘City’
- ‘Hotel’ (fan request; not permanently on the setlist)
Specially, fans got to hear some backstories about some songs on the setlist. Claire shared that she and her dad make music together, and on a family trip to Iceland, they found inspiration for the song ‘Bleeding Violet’ inside a perfume shop. We don’t want to give the entire story away, so we’ll leave it there for now. Touchingly, she also shared the story behind the making of ‘Chronic,’ a very personal and vulnerable song about living with a chronic illness. If you can relate to that story at all, then we suggest you give the song a listen if you haven’t heard it yet.
