You know those times when you just feel like running away, but there’s one thing or person that’s keeping you grounded through your struggles? More often than not, music is the thing holding us together, especially if it comes from the multi-talented Tyler Posey. Lucky for us, he’s given us just the thing to get through the last bout of our winter blues with ‘Gravity,’ an anthem about finding that person who gives you the strength to “make peace with the demons” you’ve been trying to escape.
‘Gravity’ is special… Like they all are, goddammit, but this was the first song Phem and I wrote together. It was supposed to be on my last EP, but it didn’t fit the theme of it. So, this one has been a favorite of mine for years now. I’m happy to finally show it to the world!

Whenever Tyler and Phem write together (see tracks like ‘Don’t Try And Fix Me,’ ‘Happy,’ and ‘Shut Up’), the results are simply magical. Add in a legend like John Feldmann and it’s destined to be a song that we’ll never forget! We couldn’t imagine ‘Gravity’ being any better than it already is.
If you love ‘Gravity’ as much as we do, you’re in for a treat later this spring – Tyler will be releasing a 16-track album called UNRAVEL on May 26th, featuring songs like ‘Gravity’ and ‘Lemon.’ (another Phem-assisted track, may we add)! That’s more than twice as long as his 2021 EP, Drugs, and he’s grown so much since releasing that project. We can only imagine what gems he has in store for us this era, and we’ll be here excitedly waiting until release day! Aaaaaand maybe pre-ordering every UNRAVEL variant possible right here.
Being an independent artist, there is a lot of freedom, and that’s exactly what this album is. Freedom. It’s got every genre from screamo hardcore punk to chill beach vibes. Listen to it from start to finish in order, to really experience the ride that is UNRAVEL, my first full-length LP!
