Back in her home state of Massachusetts this weekend, Clairo played two shows on her Sling tour at the House of Blues in Boston, and we were thrilled to catch night 2! Clairo was happy to be sharing the stage with her 6 band members and excited to perform for some of her family members who were in the audience!
Arlo Parks opened the show and even came out later to sing ‘Blouse‘ with Clairo. She said it was the first duet either of them had ever done! Hopefully, we’ll hear more from them together in the future, because it was magical.
The ambiance of the show perfectly complemented the feel of her most recent album, Sling, with orange, glowing, oversized lanterns placed around the stage for a calming and intimate atmosphere. Looking around at the crowd throughout the show you could see friends hugging and swaying to the music, screaming with their hands in the air, and even strumming an air guitar.
Clairo played most of the songs from Sling, such as ‘Zinnias,’ ‘Amoeba,’ and ‘Management,’ but also played a handful from her 2019 album Immunity and of course ‘Pretty Girl.’ Songs like ‘Alewife’ were even more special at this show, considering we were actually “30 minutes from Alewife.” Overall, Clairo put on an incredible show, and we’re already excited for the next tour!
- ‘Blouse’ (duet with Arlo Parks)
- ‘Just For Today’
- ‘Little Changes’
