You know when you find that one artist that just melts your heart immediately? Yeah, us too. We got to see Jonah Kagen light up a sold-out Webster Hall stage in New York last week opening up for Maisie Peters!

Flanked by keys/bass player Mike Nardone and guitarist Dylan Rockoff, Jonah took the spotlight to start the show. While most of the crowd knew (and loved) him already, the ones who didn’t are surely new fans now. There’s truly nothing better than seeing an artist on stage clearly having the time of their life. If the constant smiles were anything to go by, Jonah was having a blast.
We were floored when he shared that not only was it the fifth show of the tour, but his fifth show ever. If someone said he’d been in the spotlight since he was five, we’d believe you. Jonah is a natural onstage – overflowing charisma and no nerves in sight.

Not only did we get to hear the viral faves ‘Moon’ and ‘Broken,’ but Jonah played four unreleased songs, too. His next release (out Friday, presave here!), ‘Turbulence,’ has some of the most beautiful harmonies we’ve ever heard! You know you’re doing something right when a crowd of people is screaming every word to songs that aren’t even out yet.
Setlist

- ‘Chemicals’ (unreleased)
