Tempers are a New York City-based duo who we at THP were lucky to catch at Elsewhere Zone 1 close to the release of their latest album New Meaning.
From their debut album Services back in 2015, where singer-songwriter duo Jasmine Golestaneh and Eddie Cooper and their sleek fusion of synth-pop, house, shoegaze, techno, and punk, first started. With the release of their latest album New Meaning, the duo has taken their diversified sound and made a name for themselves with a signature lyrical and melodic flair that welcomes their audience with a gritty edge that upsells traditional alternative music. We are vibing insanely hard!
Factoring in the balanced instrumentation of tracks found in New Meaning not straying far in one direction, Tempers has the authenticity of alternative rock and pop that is our new obsession.
We at THP were fortunate enough to catch Tempers leading up to the release of New Meaning. And let us tell you, Honey Poppers, these are tracks we need to turn up, listen to (and you know, just vibe?!) along to.
The release of New Meaning shows listeners of Tempers the evolution of their style. A polished fusion of synth with lyrics and influences of shoegaze, punk that we promise, hit hard live. It all made for a night that we wish you could’ve been at, Honey Poppers!
To show this incredibly talented group even more love, we’ve listed our go-to tracks here. And since we’re feeling it, that means you are going to as well.
Our Top Go To Tracks from Tempers:
- ‘Capital Pains’
- ‘Strange Harvest’
- ‘Hell Hotline’
