We’re Tasting The Future Again, With Bastille’s New Three-Part Album Give Me The Future + Dreams Of The Past

Bastille just announced the release of Give Me The Future + Dreams Of The Past and we are losing it. This is an expansion of their No. 1 album Give Me The Future that they gifted us earlier this year. This new three-part album drops on August 26th and is made up of a whopping 27 tracks. This edition features not only an entire album’s worth of new songs, but collaborations, covers, and even reprises. Bastille truly keeps us fed, and we are beyond grateful.

To get us all psyched for the new edition, Bastille released ‘Revolution‘ to give us a little taste of what’s to come. This song focuses on the admiration we hold for people who spend their entire lives trying to make the world a better place. This was after we already got the banger that is ‘Remind Me‘ earlier this summer too. We love these giving icons.

Even More To Obsess Over

The new release helps make an even clearer link between the future and the past. Disc two is essentially part two to the ideas and concepts we fell in love with originally on Give Me The Future. With sounds described as “glacial grooves” and “garage stutter-esque,” the re-visit/expansion of their Other People’s Heartache mixtape series on disc three, brings the energy found in the entirety of this album to life.

We’re already counting down the days to the release of this new favorite album of ours. What songs are you most excited to hear on Give Me The Future + Dreams Of Future Past? Personally, we’re stoked to hear ‘Hope For The Future’ and ‘Dancing In The Dark.’ Let us know your picks by tweeting us @thehoneypop or visiting Facebook and Instagram.
