You already know we’re at the edge of our seats here at The Honey POP for the release of Give Me the Future + Dreams of The Past, the next installment of Bastille’s three-part extended release! Literally, August 26th cannot come soon enough. Bastille already gave us a little taste of what’s to come by dropping ‘Revolution‘ a few weeks ago along with the announcement. And now we have the video for ‘Revolution’ to watch over and over until August 26th finally arrives.
Ready To Go Back To The Future?
‘Revolution’ is a song “[…] about the intimacy of human connection […] people who spend their lives trying to change the world in a positive way,” as Dan said in a conversation about the new song. This track came after the release of ‘Remind Me‘ earlier this summer, another song from the upcoming release. ‘Revolution’ has been a core track for Give Me The Future since the start. So, the decision to leave it off of the initial album was not an easy one for the group to make, and we can completely understand why. Both of these songs are certified bangers by us over here at THP, and you can definitely count on us adding them to every dance playlist we have.
Give Me The Future + Dreams of The Past comes out everywhere on August 26th. With it we get not only an album’s worth of new songs, but covers, collabs, and new editions to the immersive world Bastille has created. This immersive universe even spans into their live shows, bringing their already out-of-this-world performances to out-of-this-universe ones. Catch them this fall for a concert you won’t stop talking about for months.
How many of Dan’s dance moves have you mastered from the video already? Which song off Give Me The Future + Dreams Of The Past are most psyched to hear? Let us know in the comments below, by tweeting us @thehoneypop, or by visiting us on Instagram or Facebook.
