Honey bees, we’ve got some great news for you! The most fun song of the summer just dropped! CRAVITY have come through with their first English-language single, ‘Boogie Woogie,’ and oh boy, does it make us wanna do just that!
The upbeat track is filled with so many harmonies that it wouldn’t sound out of place on the soundtrack of a teen movie in the best way possible. ‘Boogie Woogie’ is so bright and brings a smile to our faces, but most of all, it makes us want to dance! Allen said that the group got so excited to share this song with fans whilst they were recording it, and that energy definitely comes through!
‘Boogie Woogie’ is CRAVITY’s first English-language song, an achievement that has always been on member Jungmo’s bucket list. In fact, CRAVITY are having plenty of bucket list moments in 2022!
In May, the nine-member group had their first overseas performances in New York and Chicago. These were followed by London’s HallyUPopFest in July, which The Honey POP was lucky enough to be at! CRAVITY have already achieved so many idol bucket list goals in the two years since they debuted, and they’re not done yet!
Despite all this, and now releasing one of the brightest songs of the summer, CRAVITY‘s 2022 doesn’t stop here. They’re performing at KCON throughout August, and then they’ll be gifting us with their 4th mini album. NEW WAVE will be released in September, and ‘Boogie Woogie’ is a pre-release from the project.
