We’re In ‘Crumbs’ Over Rebecca Black Again

Rebecca Black has had our attention here at The Honey POP since the release of ‘Friday’ way back in 2011. And watching the rebirth and reintroduction Rebecca has been making in the music world has had us in a puddle. Naturally, when she told the world her debut album, Let Her Burn, is dropping early next year, we were in absolute ‘Crumbs‘ to say the very least.

“As I enter this new moment, I wanted to explore the vulnerability I’ve felt in finding balance with submission, dominance, and sexuality. I’ve had to dive into my own body to feel the deeply powerful but also dangerous feelings of relinquishing control”

– Rebecca Black

With her own self-discovery and pride in who she is at her core, Rebecca Black claimed her place as a pop icon. The release of ‘Friday remix’ for the 10-year anniversary of ‘Friday’ was the moment that showed us and the world what to expect from her. Not to leave out ‘Girlfriend’ which was Billboard’s best musical moment of 2021, or her collaboration with bbno$ ‘yoga‘ which reached 1 million views in less than a week. It’s clear that Let Her Burn is simply the next chapter in her iconic story. Between a sold-out debut tour across America and Europe along with iconic appearances and performances, she’s had a powerful 2022.

What kind of tracks are you hoping for on Let Her Burn? Personally, our fingers are crossed for a tear-inducing love song and our new villain-era anthem. Let us know your hopes in the comments below! Or send us a tweet over on Twitter @thehoneypop! Or you can find us on Instagram or Facebook!
