The ‘Shape Of You’ singer Ed Sheeran has shared exciting news ahead of his new album — (Subtract)’s release date on May 5th. In honor of his new album Ed Sheeran has announced the — (Subtract) Tour! This is a new separate tour that coincides with his current + – = ÷ x Tour (Mathematics). The — (Subtract) Tour is going to be a slow-paced intimate theater show with Ben Kweller as the special guest. Ed Sheeran will be touring 14 cities across the US on the — (Subtract) Tour! The — (Subtract) Tour will be starting on May 19th in Clearwater, Florida.
Tickets for this exclusive intimate experience with Ed Sheeran go on Tuesday. The Verified Fan Onsale are released first on May 2nd at 10:00 AM local venue time. To repeat the — (Subtract) Tour supports Ed Sheeran’s upcoming deeply emotional and soul-exposing album. Ed Sheeran made — (Subtract) centered around grief and hope.
You can expect that — (Subtract) is going to be an even more emotional album in comparison to Ed’s previous ones. We are getting deeper personal insight into Ed Sheeran’s more private dark days and how he coped. The album was also written and recorded with Aaron Dessner (of the National). If we know anything about Aaron Dessner aiding Taylor Swift in writing ‘Tolerate It,’ ‘The 1,’ and ‘Would’ve, Could’ve, Should’ve’, we know that — (Subtract) is going to be beautifully gut-wrenching.
Don’t Feel Like You Have To Divide Yourself To Enjoy Ed Sheeran
Get yourself ready for the — (Subtract) Tour and + – = ÷ x Tour (Mathematics) by listening to ‘Boat’ and ‘Eyes Closed.’ Either are great options for you to get into your feels and get a taste of what is to come on the — (Subtract) album. This album is extremely important to Ed Sheeran. We can tell this from the addition of a special tour in its honor and the upcoming Ed Sheeran: The Sum Of It All documentary. This documentary is about Ed Sheean’s journey as a person. The documentary gives snippets into his life and how that has shaped him into the artist he is today. From the 2-minute trailer for his Ed Sheeran: The Sum Of It All we know that it is going to be raw, emotional, authentic, and personal.
This is not necessarily a documentary about — (Subtract) only. It is a documentary that gives us a snapshot of Ed Sheeran the bloke from Halifax facing life and music. It made us cry watching the trailer. Without a doubt, because of that, we know it’ll be a real tearjerker. This documentary will pair well with the album on May 5th.
