Kelly Clarkson is truly on a hot streak this year, and with her latest single, ‘red flag collector,’ she’s fearlessly stepping away from someone who seems like a bit of a walking red flag, choosing to take the high road while they try to tear her down. Every song Kelly releases gets us in our feels in one way or another, and this time, she has us simultaneously feeling bad that a warm heart like hers went through so much pain, and being immensely proud of her for getting out of that situation. It brings together all the badass energy we loved from songs like ‘Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)’ while also giving us something fresh and empowering! We truly can’t get enough.
So, divorce… okay? Things get said that you’re, like, “what?” You know? You just get caught off guard and you’re like, “I need to write a song. Or I’m gonna set my house on fire.” So I feel like the first one’s healthier?

‘red flag collector’ is making us even more excited for Kelly’s chemistry album to come out on June 23rd – and that’s a huge feat, because we really thought we couldn’t be more excited than we already were. The album explores the ups and downs that come with having amazing chemistry with someone, which is such an interesting concept that we can’t wait to hear unfold.
Having chemistry with someone is an incredible, and overwhelming, feeling. It’s like you have no choice in the matter. You are just drawn to each other. This can be good and bad. This album takes you down every path that chemistry could lead you down.

Of course, we have to start off with the obvious choice: Kelly’s Wrapped In Red holiday album photoshoot! Red is such a staple color of the holiday season, and she created classy, festive looks with a ribbon-adorned top, bejeweled dress, and even a magical tulle gown moment that we still can’t get off our minds.
The ‘Love So Soft’ Music Video
We love it when our faves embrace a retro aesthetic, so you could imagine our excitement when we saw the first outfit of Kelly’s ‘Love So Soft’ video! She paired a chic red dress with a head scarf, glasses, and her iconic red lipstick. We’d usually pick something comfier for a road trip, but we might just have to go for a more upscale vibe like her next time!
Her Jacket On The Voice
Beyond her music, one of our favorite things about Kelly is her huge heart, which leads her to give back to fellow artists and help encourage them to find their voice. One of the main ways she does that is as a mentor on The Voice, and if you’re lucky enough to make it onto her team, you get a crimson jacket reading “Team Kelly!” If you hear us singing karaoke in our rooms at 2AM practicing for an audition just to get the jacket, don’t mind us.
