5 Songs To Get You Hyped For Knuckle Puck’s Upcoming Album, Losing What We Love

The end of the year is quickly approaching. Some of us are already making predictions for our 2023 Spotify Wrapped. But don’t start your AOTY list just yet because the pop-punk AOTY is still TBD. Why? Because Knuckle Puck’s new album, Losing What We Love, doesn’t drop until next month on October 20th. In the meantime, here are five songs to get you ready for the new album.

The Tower

If their new song doesn’t get you hyped, we’re unsure what will. Because this song is an absolute banger, and we can’t wait to hear it live. Sonically, it’s harder than some of their previous music. But we’re absolutely here for it.

‘No Good’

Let’s go back in time for a second. The Weight That You Buried EP just turned 10. But we don’t want to think too hard about that. Instead, let’s focus on ‘No Good.’ Yes, it’s one of their top songs with over 17,000,000 views, but it’s deserved. Screaming, “It’s people just like you who made me the pessimist I am / I’m lower than the dirt with no roots left to find.” whether in your room, car or at a show, is so incredibly healing.

‘Evergreen’

‘Evergreen,’ also affectionately dubbed “the tree song” by some. The lyrics are so poetic. “Setting sail on concrete oceans / feel the hills roll on / engulfed in flames.” Even though we listen to it all year round, it’s very much an autumn song. “And I feel the staleness in the autumn air / It’s not like usual / It’s f*cking hopeless.”

‘Everyone Lies To Me’

This song puts the punk in pop punk. It’s all about greed and the current state of the world. When they said, “Our dreams are murdered by the mortgage every first of the month,” we felt that. Except with rent. So we’ll fingerpoint to that one.

‘Earthquake’

While we always love a good angsty breakup song, we love ‘Earthquake,’ too. It’s such a fun, upbeat love song. We didn’t know that being compared to an earthquake could be romantic, but KP makes it work somehow with the lyrics, “You got me shook/trippin’ over my shoes / an earthquake ain’t nothin’ compared to you”

Ready To See Them Live?

Us too. We’re being blessed with another Knuckle Puck x Real Friends co-headlining tour. Yes, they toured together earlier this year. But we’ll gladly go to this tour, too. Be sure to get your tickets because you don’t want to miss out.
