Country songs will always steal our hearts, and that’s no different with Dan + Shay’s new album, Bigger Houses. There’s no denying their immense talent. We still haven’t recovered from Dan + Shay’s 2021 album, Good Things, and now we have Bigger Houses to completely blow us away and leave us swaying so contently where we sit. We’re so happy!
We’d say checking out the title track is a good move for a first taste! Dan + Shay created ‘Bigger Houses’ with the intention of the song being a nod to how important it is to surround yourself with the best kind of people rather than chasing trivial things like money and fame.

Black Rainbows by Corinne Bailey Rae
A delightfully indulgent album that takes inspiration from a journey into the black archives in the Arts Bank and holds no bars to any specific genre. We love that! There’s a track on Corinne Bailey Rae’s Black Rainbows for everyone, as the songs are so wonderfully original. From a punch of guitars on ‘Erasure’ to a funky, unique blend on ‘He Will Follow You With His Eyes,’ Corinne Bailey Rae ensured that Black Rainbows had something for everyone.
You should check out ‘New York Transit Queen’ to start you off! Corinne Bailey Rae delivers a punk edge on this track that we can’t get enough of.

Dormant by Silent Skies
If you’re a fan of atmospheric songs that enlighten you with poetic lyrics that instigate introspection, Dormant by Silent Skies is for you. Listening from the first track to the last, this album had us hooked and amazed. Silent Skies showcase just how powerful music can be as they successfully strike right through our hearts and souls with every track on Dormant.

Wisecrack by Haley Blais
We’re such suckers for relatable songs, and Haley Blais’ new album, Wisecrack, is full of them, from start to finish. The songs on Wisecrack came to be when Haley Blais chose to look to the past as a way to take steps forward. And we have every bit of praise to give her for the vocals and lyricism on every track. Haley Blais’ voice is gorgeous and, matched with luscious lyricism against the addictive sound on each track of Wisecrack, we are left filled with such contentment.
You’ll want to have a listen to ‘Body’ to get you started on this album, and the music video is such an incredible watch, too!

The End by Cody Fry
An album that’s a cinematic experience in every song? And one that could be the soundtrack to your life as though you’re living in a movie? Please! Cody Fry has overwhelmed us and impressed us all at once with the pure talent emanating from the songs on his new album, The End. From the first track to the last, we were captivated and entirely captured by everything on display in Cody Fry’s The End, and honestly, we may never be the same again. This album is such an incredible experience!
The title track from The End is a must-listen and demonstrates what to expect from the rest of Cody Fry’s symphonic-pop album. It’s just so good!
