It’s no secret that we love Young Culture and Daisy Grenade here at The Honey POP, and they’ve given us more to love! They just dropped ‘Jesus,’ which is a banger of a track that we can’t get out of our heads. No, seriously, we can show you our streaming history, we haven’t been able to stop listening to this song since it dropped.
We didn’t expect a Young Culture and Daisy Grenade collab this year, but we are not mad at it at all. The vocals complement each other perfectly, and the song is catchy as hell. It was also super fun to see the bands’ promo videos for ‘Jesus.’

We also loved this one, where Young Culture vocalist Alex Magnan has his mom listen to ‘Jesus.’ It’s so wholesome and lighthearted, and we humbly request Mama Magnan’s reaction to all new Young Culture songs moving forward, thank you.
“It’s been a really bad year but I’m getting pretty used to that“
Opening the song with a line like this is nothing short of stellar. We’re looking forward to when we get a chance to scream this live back at Young Culture (and Daisy Grenade if we’re lucky enough to see them both together). Whether you’re having a good year or a bad one, this collab is definitely about to make it better.

The bridge is one of our favorite parts of the song. We can’t stop matching Alex’s voice and saying it right along with him every time we listen. It’s just a lot of fun, which we think sums up the song and Young Culture pretty well.

And, of course, we can’t forget about the ‘Jesus’ music video. Live concert footage in music videos is one of our favorite things, especially if we’ve seen the band live! It’s always fun to try and spot yourself in crowd footage, and we’re sure the fans that made it into the ‘Jesus’ mv were stoked to see themselves.
Be sure to show Young Culture and Daisy Grenade some love and stream ‘Jesus.’ Both these bands are incredible, and we’re absolutely blown away by this collab.
