Apple Music is providing all the content we need this October to keep us entertained during our hotgirl walks. If you need a change-up from your regular playlist, here are three new Apple Music drops you need in your life!
You know we can’t resist it when Zane Lowe interviews our favorite pop icons. In the hot seat for this edition is Troye Sivan, dishing all about his new album Something To Give Each Other. Since it dropped on Friday, it’s pretty much consumed our weekend, so of course, we had to listen in to get all the behind the scenes info.
Since his early YouTube days, Troye has given us honesty and never shied away from it, and this interview is no different. Zane and Troye covered everything from recent heartbreaks to embracing the party scene in Melbourne, and even the story of how he secured the iconic Bag Raiders sample in ‘Got Me Started,’ and so much more! One of our favorite interview moments was Troye discussing his views of love and growth.
I think it just made me so much more comfortable with being by myself and so much more comfortable with being with my friends and also just with people that are coming and going through your life. I just saw such beauty in all of those moments and I was like, okay, love exists in many, many forms and you can feel it in many different ways with somebody you just met five minutes ago.

If you want some girl power to start your day, why don’t you join Tori Kelly and host Brooke Reese for a chat about Tori’s new EP, ‘tori?’ It’s great to hear that Tori is feeling in a really positive mindset and excited about her music releases. She also discusses feeling like she’s found a strong creative partnership with Jon Bellion. We have to agree, ‘young gun’ is incredible! The music video is so stunning, you have to take a second and check it out:
‘tori’ is a powerful EP, and she is having fun with her music, and it is so clear in the interview. If you love a good story, the episode is full of them! Not only do they touch on Tori’s experiences making music with Jon Bellion, but we get her thoughts on the upcoming Usher Super Bowl halftime show and her history of playing thumb wars with Stevie Wonder. Yeah, you read that right. You can listen to the full episode of The Charts Show now by clicking here!
Have you ever asked yourself, “What Would Dolly Do?” We know we have, and we’re clearly not the only ones! Ahead of the release of her album Rockstar, Dolly Parton is bringing us a new four-part series, What Would Dolly Do? We’re not entirely convinced yet that this is real and not something our fangirl minds have conjured up after dreaming too long about a trip to Dollywood. The first episode will be available to stream on Apple Music 1 from October 25th and then every Wednesday at 7pm CT.
We’re looking forward to hearing Dolly talk about everything from her iconic looks to her entering her rockstar era (bring it on!) We’re also really looking forward to the episode about her business and philanthropic endeavors. It’s so cool that Dolly continues to use her influence and wealth to help other people and it’s just another reason she’s the icon that she is. We’ll definitely be adding Dolly’s show to our Wednesday walks!
We love a good hot girl walk, and these episodes are going to keep us going for a while. A podcast a day keeps the doctors away? Anyway… there’s so much Apple Music content to delve into, so make sure you check out their socials to keep up to date! Which episode are you listening to first? Let us know by tweeting us @TheHoneyPop! You can also find us on Instagram, and Facebook so make sure to stop by!
