The wait is finally over – Red Velvet’s new album, Chill Kill – The 3rd Album, is here! The range the group shows within the album is breathtaking, to say the least. We’ve come to love Red Velvet for countless reasons, but one is the way we can count on every track of theirs to be an absolute banger. And not that we thought they would miss the mark – but this release does not disappoint.
The title track of the record ‘Chill Kill’ is honestly a song that we think deserves its own Hollywood Star on the Walk of Fame. It’s catchy and you want to hit that repeat button the second you realize it’s about to end. Not only that but ‘Chill Kill’ is about a relationship that’s gone all kinds of topsy tervy. Which is something we think we can all relate to a bit too well. But thankfully, Red Velvet gets it too, and dropped this banger so we can dance through the tears.
And don’t even get us started on how badly we need to hear this album live – in its entirety preferably. I mean, we can already imagine the choreography for ‘Knock Knock (Who’s There?)’ live. Not to mention how ‘Nightmare’ would have everyone on their feet swaying from side to side as they belted that chorus together.

‘Will I Ever See You Again’ is another favorite of ours off the record. It’s whimsical, mesmerizing, and an instant on-repeat song. It also compares a love that seems like it could be done for good to Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream. To say that it’s absolutely breathtaking is the understatement of the century. We can already see the dreamy stage setup, the fog, and all the magical elements this track would serve live!
