On Wednesday We Listen To The Mean Girls Soundtrack (Duh)

It’s time! Mean Girls, both the movie and soundtrack, are out in the world, and this is all we’re going to talk about for the foreseeable future. Not only are we witnessing so many careers that are going to have longevity without a doubt, but we’re also ushering in the most perfect wave of musical theater meeting cinema in a way that perfectly works.

Every single person involved in this project is a star, and truly, Reneé Rapp proves that being a leading lady just comes naturally to her; she’s going to be the It Girl of 2024. Mark our words.

Listen to the Mean Girls soundtrack here!

Ever since the Mean Girls soundtrack came out, that is all we’ve been listening to, with ‘Not My Fault’ and ‘World Burn’ being on the heaviest rotation. We grew up with the 2004 classic film, and seeing a new wave of plastics be ushered in, and this time adding a plethora of songs? What could be better?!

This is going to be one of those pop-culture moments that stays with people, one of those casts that people are still talking about a year from now, and one of those soundtracks that we are still singing at the top of our lungs when this reimagination of a classic is also reimagined.

We really hope that award show season doesn’t look past what incredible performances are executed by the entire cast, with a special highlight on the it girl, Reneé Rapp, who truly couldn’t have played Regina George any better.
