It’s finally here bookworms! Heartstopper Volume 5 has arrived, and it is an amazing follow-up to an emotional volume 4. You don’t want to miss out on this exciting addition to the series that’s filled with character development and beautiful illustrations.
Summary: Nick and Charlie are very much in love. They’ve finally said those three little words, and Charlie has almost persuaded his mum to let him sleep over at Nick’s house … But with Nick going off to university next year, is everything about to change?

Our Review
We loved getting to revisit some of our all-time favorite characters! In this volume, we focus a lot on how Nick and Charlie’s relationship continues to grow and develop. We couldn’t get enough of how sweet they are together! Heartstopper Volume 5 is filled with many different emotions, from Nick’s excitement and nervousness about going to university, to Charlie’s journey towards recovery. We were rooting for them all throughout the book. There were also a few scenes featuring Nick and Charlie’s teachers, and the other people in their friend group which we loved to see! One of our favorite things about this series is it has such a well developed cast of side characters. As always, Alice’s illustrations were beautiful to look at and perfectly complimented the vibe of the story. We cannot wait for volume 6, the final volume, to see how everything plays out. In the meantime, we’ll be binge-reading all things Heartstopper and rewatching the TV show!
