Here at the hive, we’ll be the first to admit that we love Conan Gray! From crying to ‘Heather’ and dancing to ‘Never Ending Song’ he’s provided a track for every moment of our lives since 2017. Ever since Superache, we’ve been wishing for more music from Conan and lucky for us, he’s provided! He announced his brand new album, Found Heaven, which will release on April 5th of this year. If that wasn’t enough to get you excited, on February 9th, we’ll be getting the album’s final single: ‘Lonely Dancers.’ Before all of this happens, we had to take a moment to appreciate some of our favorite Conan Gray songs that have led us up to this moment!

‘Grow’
This is a throwback, isn’t it? ‘Grow’ was Conan’s first-ever release, which is one of many reasons it makes us incredibly emotional. It’s an anthemic track about, well, growing or realizing that you’re ready for that next stage of your life. If only 2017 Conan knew how much he would ‘Grow.’ See why it makes us so emotional?
‘Crush Culture’
As one of the singles on Conan’s first EP, Sunset Season, we can safely say this is one of the most iconic songs in his discography. Valentine’s Day is just around the corner so if you’re finding yourself without that special someone, don’t worry, you can just listen to ‘Crush Culture!’ In all seriousness, the music video features Conan popping balloons, ruining dates, and some more anti-Valentine activities. He just gets it!
‘Little League’
On a happier note, we have ‘Little League,’ which is best described as a coming-of-age anthem that you want to dance and sob to simultaneously! Which is obviously the best kind of song. With a similar theme to ‘Grow,’ this song is all about growing up and reminiscing, but feeling less accepting about it. Growing up comes with some hard realizations and Conan captured that in the most bittersweet way.
‘The Exit’
Listening to this song may be the only time it feels good to have your heart broken. Conan’s vocals are stunning, the lyrics are beautiful, and it’s the best closing track to an album we’ve seen in a while! The track has lyrics such as “feels like we buried alive something that never died” and “possible to understand how you’re not coming back but I can’t say it out loud,” which will guarantee that you need a box of tissues to get through this song.
With that, it’s time that we make our own exit. Conan absolutely amazes us with each new release and we can’t wait to hear the new music! Which of these tracks are your favorite?
