ARMYs, our lives are about to change once again, thanks to our favorite leader! We’re getting a new RM album in May, and that’s the best news we could’ve ever gotten. Namjoon’s latest masterpiece is called Right Place, Wrong Person, and it will include 11 (!!!!!!) new songs by our greatest poet and musical savior. This album is about to be unforgettable, not only because Namjoon never misses but also because he’s ready to comfort us (and take our breath away) with this new release.
We are so excited to check this project out, and the announcement has given us the green light to start imagining how it will be. We’ve decided to share our manifestations for this album with all of you to see if any (or all of them) will come true on May 24th!
A Beautiful Combination Of Alternative Styles
Right Place, Wrong Person will combine two of our favorite musical elements: alternative sounds and Namjoon’s relatable and powerful lyricism. He has always been able to describe what’s been going on in our heads in the most beautiful and relatable way possible, and we can’t wait to see how his lyrics will sound in an alternative-centered album. Since we’re about to get 11 new songs, we would love to see a showcase of alternative styles, such as alternative rock, and even indie. These genres fit that sensation of feeling like a stranger, which is the main emotion in this album, like a glove. We’re sure that Namjoon will blow our minds away with this project!
A Collaboration (Or Multiple) With Another BTS Member
Indigo is an incredible collaborative project. Namjoon came together with amazing artists to release perfect tracks, and we’re so thankful that we’re alive at the same time as that album. We would like to manifest more collaborations in Right Place, Wrong Person, but this time, we would love to see a BTS member featured in them. We’ve already seen that the features released during their solo eras have been wonderful, so we can dream about inviting another member into this album (and hopefully, we will be able to see it live!).
An Impactful Interlude
BTS has released the most gorgeous interludes we’ve ever heard, both in their group work and solo releases. Whether they are instrumentals or full tracks, you can always rely on them to have great additions like this in their discography. We would love to know if Right Place, Wrong Person will include an interlude, especially if this album will be lyrically honest. It could be a shorter track that fits into the project’s general feeling, or it could be a spoken-word bit that will leave us saying “Wow.” We are firm believers that listening to an album from top to bottom is crucial to understanding its whole message, so an interlude would fit perfectly into Namjoon’s newest gem!
An Additional Visual Component
If you have been following Namjoon’s social media, you probably have been losing your mind with what he has been unfolding in @rpwprpwprpwp and his aesthetic in that Instagram account. We’re still shocked that the album name was under our noses the whole time (seriously, we will never get over it), but we’re so grateful that Namjoon keeps surprising us with his incredible projects. Since he has been curating that account very carefully in the past few months, we think there will be visuals that will relate to Right Place, Wrong Person‘s storytelling, and how this album was created. Something that hasn’t been done yet. The possibilities are endless, and we can’t wait to see how Namjoon shares this album.
