Oh, would you look at the time! It’s missing-MONSTA-X hours again. It’s been a while since we had a group comeback from MONSTA X, but don’t worry! In addition to their solo and unit promotions, there’s still plenty of MONSTA X content we’ll take any excuse to rewatch!
The group is easily one of 3rd Gen’s best, and so many 4th and 5th Gen artists cite MONSTA X as inspiration for their performances! With this in mind, we thought it was only fair that we revisit some of our faves.
‘Gambler’ Live Band Version
We’re not here to mess about – this is one of, if not the, best MONSTA X performances in our not-so-humble opinion. ‘Gambler’ is one of their most legendary title tracks, and this live band version only shows off their charms even more. MONSTA X are so suave and cool that we’re about to catch a chill.
‘Shoot Out’ On MCountdown
We do not need to explain why this is on here. If you know, you know.
‘Ride with U’
It honestly doesn’t feel like it’s an exaggeration to say that MONSTA X are dangerously cool. Their charisma in this performance video for ‘Ride with U’ (a criminally underrated b-side) is off the charts. The whole thing just feels like it’s so much better than it needs to be, which doesn’t make any sense, but we’re standing by it.
‘HERO’ Rooftop Version
Are you even a Monbebe if you didn’t have an obsession with this performance video when you first started stanning MONSTA X? ‘HERO’ is quintessential early MONSTA X, and this rooftop version is a rite of passage for every baby fan, as it should be!
‘BEASTMODE’ And ‘Love Killa’ At The 2020 MMAs
We’ll never tire of ‘Love Killa,’ ‘BEASTMODE,’ or any performance where MONSTA X are wearing suits, TBH. The stage design for this MMA performance is so strong, and has the decadence that MONSTA X deserve!
‘Versace On The Floor’
One word: harmonies! Perhaps better known for their ferocious rap line, sometimes the fact that every single member of MONSTA X is a top-tier vocalist gets overlooked. However, if you watch this Bruno Mars cover, you’ll know there’s absolutely no denying it! That’s not to say the rap here isn’t great too, though – we love that MONSTA X wrote their own verses for this cover.
‘One Day’
MONSTA X has one of the strongest English-language discographies in K-Pop! This performance of ‘One Day’ proves it, as well as once again showing off MONSTA X’s vocal prowess!
So, here are our recommendations! What’s your favorite MONSTA X performance? Did we miss anything that you think should be on this list? Let us know all your thoughts over on Twitter @TheHoneyPOP! Or we’re also on Facebook and Instagram!
