Meet Me @ The Altar
We love getting the opportunity to watch Meet Me @ The Altar perform on stage! This pop-punk band was a great start to open the night with fast energetic music to get everyone dancing and warmed up! Crowd favorites of the night were ‘Say It (To My Face)’ and ‘Kool’.
Cavetown
Cavetown is an artist we will never skip on our playlists. The night started with ‘let them know they’re on your mind’, this was a perfect opening song. Cavetown then appeared on an elevated tree stump prop with rainbow stage lights while the beginning of the song started. It felt like we were dreaming! Cavetown is one of those artists whose music feels like a warm hug from your best friend, we loved being here.
The next songs performed were ‘1994’ and ‘heart attack.’ The attention to production was beautiful as the stage lights were constantly illuminated against a mushroom forest backdrop. This added so much to their performance.
Throughout the set we heard heart-warming music, saw friendship bracelet trading, and hopped during one of our favorite songs, ‘frog.’ If you haven’t had the opportunity to see Cavetown perform live yet, make sure to check them out before this tour ends!
Mother Mother
Mother Mother is an artist we have been anticipating seeing for a long time, and they did not disappoint! Starting the night off with ‘Nobody Escapes’, this is off their most recent album Grief Chapter. This album explores the different emotions through grief and how to live life to its full potential.
Throughout their entire set, Mother Mother had electrifying instruments paired with beautifully confident and strong vocals. Their set truly felt like a home away from home.
