It feels like it’s been years since we’ve got new Meet Me @ The Altar music, so their new hit track ‘Strangers’ was a nice little gift.
‘Strangers’
So, as we said, we have a new track from Meet Me @ The Altar! ‘Strangers’ is about having self-doubt and feeling like you’re not good enough, which can be relatable, ya know? And In true MM@TA fashion, the band is really good at putting feelings into words. They know how to make songs where the lyrics sound like you are talking to a close friend or coming straight from your journal.
Especially with the line “Don’t recognize me,” oh to not be perceived. And if you’re wondering what exactly does this line mean? Well, think of it like when you’re in self-doubt, you may find yourself in that loop of, “Please don’t look at or know of me.” You can also take it like when you go to a store, and you see someone from high school that you really don’t want to notice you. Because then you’ll have to have small talk about what you’re doing with your life. Then you go home and think about what you’re doing with your life. Did this track hit home? Yeah, a bit lol. This track, apart from the lyrics, and just as a whole, is probably our fave MM@TA track to date. You can stream the track here.
Even Better Live
The trio’s vocals and instrumentals are as strong as usual, and we highly recommend seeing them live! Oh, and what a coincidence they’re currently on tour with 5 Seconds Of Summer! You can find all info on where you can see the band live, here. Make sure you show up and show out, MM@TA really deserves it.

That’s not all of what you can expect from Meet Me @ The Altar. ‘Strangers’ actually comes off of their upcoming deluxe album Past // Present // Future. Which we are super stoked for, and if you’re in the same boat as us you better make sure you pre-save it! We’ll be watching you!
