We were so excited to dive into this finale and (spoiler alert!) we absolutely loved it! We cannot wait to read more of Leslie Vedder‘s work in the future.

Action At Every Turn
If you’re looking for a book that’ll keep you on the edge of your seat, you’ve come to the right place! With the looming war against the Spindle Witch and the odds stacked against them, our heroes face countless seemingly impossible obstacles. Each plot twist surprised and engaged us, we just had to know what would happen next! In true Leslie Vedder fashion we get plenty of fast-paced fighting sequences that had us holding our breath, anxious to see our main characters safe in the end.
Romances That’ll Make Your Heart Melt
After The Severed Thread, we couldn’t wait to see how the romances picked up in The Cursed Rose! Our favorite couples, Fi and Briar, and Shane and Red, are back, we couldn’t be happier! Red and Shane had the perfect banter that left us wanting more. We also loved seeing how much closer they’ve gotten and how not only their relationship developed but how they developed as individuals too. We could feel Fi’s pain and desperate hope as she stayed by Briar in his monstrous form. The ending wrapped up both of these adorable romances perfectly, we couldn’t ask for more!
The Search For Magical Relics
If you were a fan of Shane and Fi’s epic relic-hunting adventures in the previous books then you won’t be disappointed with The Cursed Rose! In their race to find something to stop the powerful Spindle Witch, Fi and Shane journey into haunted tombs and booby-trapped ancient sites. We loved following Fi as she pieced together each puzzle on their way to the end goal. Her bookish and detail-oriented talents perfectly balanced Shane’s strong-willed and determined personality.
A thrilling conclusion to a spellbinding series, The Cursed Rose is the perfect finale that spins a tale of action, romance, and relic hunting!
