Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour hasn’t been just a tour – it’s been a whole cultural moment that has let newer Swifties catch up on the magic of the album cycles they missed and let older Swifties relive their favorite memories with a new perspective. Whether you got to attend your local show, traveled to see one, or stayed home watching livestreams and eating ice cream, we’ve all gotten to enjoy this time in Taylor’s career in some way! She’s the kind of artist who makes a point to make everything she does exciting, so even those of us who couldn’t get tickets still got to be part of the Eras experience.
Almost every one of Taylor’s albums gets to shine throughout the Eras Tour show, so unless you’re a debut stan (RIP), you get to step back into your favorite era or experience the era that we didn’t truly get. For the first time, we’ve gotten to live out the glittering whimsy of Lover, the immersive escapism of folklore, and the thoughtful adventure of evermore. If your show was after April 19th, you also got to be one of the first to experience the cathartic rollercoaster of The Tortured Poets Department! We’ve returned to the nostalgic optimism of Fearless, the sparkly hope of Speak Now, the fun and frustration of Red, the freeing power of 1989, and the impactful self-exploration of reputation. And the acoustic set changes with every concert, so we can get two or more of those combined!
We’ve seen so many fun iterations of the Eras Tour, including setlist changes, new costumes, and even a complete overhaul of the show after The Tortured Poets Department came out. So we’ve been wondering, honeybees… which part of the Eras Tour is really the best part? Take our poll below and we can all decide together! The poll will run from July 15th to August 13th (for Taylor’s lucky 13), when we’ll announce the winner here, so be sure to get your choices in and recruit some of your Swiftie mutuals.
Update: The Winners!
It’s been a long time coming, but our Eras Tour poll has officially come to a close and we have a three-way tie! Fully valid, tbh. Our three winners are the original evermore set with ’tis the damn season,’ the reputation set, and the always-iconic surprise songs set, each earning 14.3% of the votes!
For second place, we also have a little tie situation as the original Lover set with ‘The Archer,’ the 1989 set, and the Tortured Poets Department set each claimed 9.5% of the poll responses.
Each of the remaining eras that got chosen earned 4.8% of the votes: Lover without ‘The Archer,’ evermore with ‘no body, no crime,’ Speak Now with ‘Long Live,’ folklore with ‘invisible string,’ folklore with ‘the 1,’ and Midnights.
And since we fully stan every Taylor era, we’re giving an honorable mention to the era sets that didn’t get any votes: Fearless, the original Speak Now set (understandable, though we’re ‘Enchanted’ lovers first and humans second), Red, Red with ‘Nothing New,’ and the combined folklore and evermore set </3
Which eras did you vote for? Is there a certain song Taylor performs on the tour that has a special place in your heart? Tell us all about it in the comments below or hit us up on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter!
