What’s New This Week: Ashe, The Driver Era, and More!

Leon Bridges – ‘Laredo’

Leon Bridges is one of the greatest of all time, and it’s time those flowers were given! With each of his releases since we fell in love with ‘Flowers’ we have seen a rebirth, each song feels fresh and brand new! After hearing ‘Laredo’ we are more than prepared for the album to follow.

The Driver Era is one of our favorite bands, so we are always overly giddy to get to talk about new TDE music! We love their entire discography, but ‘You Keep Me Up At Night’ feels like the kickoff of a new sound and new era for The Driver Era! We are ready and seated!

We had to add a little country flare to this round-up with one of our current favorite country artists, Tanner Adell! Tanner Adell is a one of one artist in the industry, and listening to her earlier tracks and then listening to ‘Silverado’ will show you all of the artistic growth that has occurred, and how her sound has evolved!

Ashe – Willson

If you’re asking us to talk about the best albums of the year (so far) Willson by Ashe will definitely come up in that conversation! Ashe is such a special artist, and is someone who is constantly growing in her artistry. Wilson is her best body of work yet, and is skipless. ‘Ashe’ is our current favorite track!

Alan Walker, Joe Jonas, and Julia Michaels – ‘Thick Of It All’

We never knew this musical matchup was even a possibility, and yet somehow it makes perfect sense! All three of these artists, Alan, Joe , and Julia all bring something so unique to this track, and all show why they are such respected artists within their specific craft.

We are loving this Joe Jonas solo path!

We are lifelong Corinne Bailey Rae fans, so any time we get new music it is the biggest treat! Something that is immediately evident about Corinne as an artist is that everything she creates comes from a place of such authenticity. ‘SilverCrane’ is such a different sound for Corinne Bailey Rae, with the sound ranging from pop, to Rnb to Funk, its a musical melting pot.

Alex Warren – ‘Troubled Waters’

If you are looking for songs that will make you cry ugly tears, Alex Warren is the artist for you! Whether or not the song is filled with happy emotions or more heavy emotions, Alex’s lyrics always come from the most personal place. To us, ‘Troubled Waters’ is a picture perfect example of this. And the music video is just stunning.

Kelsea Ballerini – PATTERNS

Every day we get closer and closer to getting the new Kelsea Ballerini album, PATTERNS! So far, we have gotten two tracks off the record, ‘Sorry Mom,’ and the collaboration with Noah Kahan, ‘Cowboys Cry Too.’ These two tracks, while both being an emotional packed punch, are sonically quite different, and we can’t wait to see where Kelsea, who is one of our favorite artists, takes the direction of this album!
