6 Iconic Movie Soundtracks We Hope Griff Covers

The pop girls are winning this week! If you love Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, and all our other faves, we have to recommend listening to Griff. Since the beginning, we’ve been in love with Griff and her stunning voice. Her latest album, Vertigo, has been on a constant loop for us since it dropped, but we’ve been really loving ‘Anything,’ ‘Astronaut,’ and ‘Tears For Fun.’

If you’re a Griff fan like us, you’ll be happy to know that she recently dropped a cover of ‘Pure Imagination’ from movie/musical Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. This song is so fun and nostalgic, and we love that Griff decided to cover it. Obviously, she ate up the cover and left no crumbs. But that was a given, right?

Griff is the winner in our story! That’s why we could picture her absolutely crushing ‘The Winner Takes It All’ from Mamma Mia! Honestly, she could cover any ABBA song and we’d be pleased.

‘Into The Unknown’ From Frozen 2

In our perfect world, Griff would be casted in the next big Disney princess movie. Couldn’t you see her being a princess? Until then, we’d love to hear her cover ‘Into The Unknown’ with a full choreography moment to go along with it. She could even sing it with AURORA, making all our collab dreams come true.

‘I See The Light’ From Tangled

If Disney refuses to let Griff on the Frozen soundtrack, maybe they’ll let her on Tangled. With Griff’s beautiful long hair, she’d be the perfect casting choice for the live-action Rapunzel. We know Mandy Moore would be proud!

‘My Favorite Things’ From Sound Of Music

There’s no talking about iconic movie soundtracks without mentioning Sound Of Music. A Julie Andrews x Griff collaboration would completely break us, but we think it’s something we desperately need in our lives.

Finally, we need Griff and her amazing dancing skills to get down with ‘Fame!’ This song will never get old and is too iconic to pass up. So many amazing artists have covered this track, and we’d love to hear Griff take on the challenge next.
