K-Pop Hotspot: February 2025 Comebacks & Debuts Roundup

Can you believe it’s already time for our February K-POP HOTSPOT? We can’t, but we’re more than thrilled to review all of this month’s K-Pop releases with you all.

Have you been keeping up with February’s comebacks and debuts? Check out our reviews on ALL (H)OURS, IVE, EVNNE, ONE PACT, and JISOO. Of course, this month wouldn’t be complete without a spotlight on the incredible return of the King of K-Pop: G-DRAGON himself.

We also had plenty of Valentine’s Day content inspired by K-Pop groups that you’ll want to enjoy. Until then, here is everything you missed this month!

THIS MONTH’S NEWS

K-poppies before we dive into this amazing month of music recap for you let us share some amazing news with you first! First of all, in case you have been living under a rock but SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi and Woozi are about to blow us away on March 10th with their duo debut with first single album Beam. Make sure you watch the concept teaser for them here.

Now to some news that will excite blinks and readers alike. In order to celebrate her long-awaited solo album release for Alter-Ego Lisa is launching her own LALISA comics in partnership with Zero Zero Entertainment. ALTER-EGO: THE OFFICIAL COMIC can be pre-ordered here and will be a limited-edition, 56-page premium comic, that is inspired by the themes of Lisa’s upcoming album. We are more than excited.

Now that’s some exciting things to come but now let’s get into February’s releases!

PLAVE

What an incredible way to kick off our February K-Pop hotspot! PLAVE’s third EP, Caligo Pt. 1, is a solid comeback from start to finish! The title track, ‘Dash,’ could be in a soundtrack for a superhero hero. And the action-packed music video only plays into that concept. This mini-album tells us we made the right decision to stan. From R&B songs to soft ballads, PLAVE can do it all!

RESCENE

If you haven’t heard of RESCENE yet, then it’s time to get to know them! They’ve just released their second EP, Glow Up. These girls prove just how talented they are with this versatile set of songs. The self-assured title track, ‘Glow Up,’ has become our anthem for being confident in everything we do. And don’t sleep on their B-sides either! Our favorites are ‘CRASH’ and ‘In My Lotion.’

CHUNGHA

Welcome back, CHUNG HA! Her new EP says it all! Alivio features eight new tracks, which was so much more than we could’ve asked for. ‘STRESS’ has the signature CHUNG HA sound that will get you up and on the dance floor in no time. She even blessed us with ‘Salty,’ a duet with Sunmi! We love seeing two queens on a track. There are absolutely no skips on this album, guaranteed. You have no idea how much we’ve missed CHUNG HA on our playlist!

JUST B

Feeling like you’re stuck or lost? Are you trying to find your way in life? Taking just one step at a time is the way to go, but sometimes, that can be hard, and we often need the right encouragement. Life is challenging, and we usually think it’s just us who seem slightly off compared to our surroundings. It’s hearing stories that we can relate to and make us realize we’re not alone that gives us the strength to take just one more step.

And what can be stronger than realizing our favorite idols have or are currently experiencing similar struggles? JUST B shared their story with ‘Han Geol Eum Man,’ and we admire them for being so open. We feel their determination to follow their chosen path; we feel how human they are. And the message continues with ‘Hoodie.’ This song focuses on assuring that the future will be brighter, no matter how confusing or heavy the present may feel. We strongly encourage you to listen to JUST B’s digital single, “. And maybe prepare some tissues.

SMTOWN

Everyone, stop what you’re doing! SMTOWN just dropped their new album, 2025 SMTOWN: THE CULTURE, THE FUTURE. The title track, ‘Thank You,’ brings together so many of our fave artists and groups, and we don’t know how to react other than burst into tears. The music video compiles clips from different music videos dating back to the time of SM’s first girl group, S.E.S! It’s so mind-boggling to think this universe has existed for over 25 years. The hour-long album is a dream to listen through, and so, so nostalgic.

LEE CHANGSUB

Lee Changsub gave us the best Valentine’s Day gift with his new single, ‘Feel The Groove!’ It’s a funky dance track that showcases Changsub’s infectious energy. He knows how to party, and we love getting to dance along. The ‘Feel The Groove’ music video shows him performing this song at a solo concert. Oh, to witness this song in person! We just know his vocals were as stable as ever.

POW

POW’s sweet ‘Gimme Love’ is just what we needed this season of love. And frankly, we don’t need it to be Valentine’s Day to play a song as lovely as this one. The single may not be complicated, but it definitely shines with its sincerity. The members’ beautiful vocals bring their love for the fans to life, and we can’t help but swoon and sway along to the gentle melody. Are you feeling warm already just by listening to it?

SUZY

February was the perfect month for long-awaited K-Pop comebacks! After more than two years since her last single, Suzy has returned with ‘Come back.’ An aptly named song, if you ask us! Suzy mesmerizes us with her soft vocals in this soothing ballad. The music video complements the song with such a nostalgic, healing vibe. We don’t know how Suzy does it all with her busy schedule, but we’ll stream all her solo songs for as long as she releases them.

ONF

Everyone, ONF had a comeback! Did you catch it? We were blessed this early in the year! You may have seen us grooving hard to ‘The Stranger,’ but we wouldn’t even try to deny it. The funky, addictive track got us under its spell in seconds; we just love some good, fun tunes. ONF always have some new bops up their sleeves and we’re forever on the lookout to add them to our fave lists. And because they don’t stop with the title track, we had to drop some B-side recommendations. We have to name ‘Night Tale’ as one of our top picks from this album, along with the team songs: ‘Nothing but a stranger’ and ‘Anti Hero,’ which offer two completely different vibes to delve into.

ARrC

ARrC is back with their second mini-album, nu kidz: out the box! This is the group’s first comeback since their debut last August and with a new member at that.  And we’re really digging their sound! The title track, ‘nu kidz,’ is a whole vibe. We love it when K-Pop groups aren’t afraid to tap into their groovy side. ARrC didn’t come to play with their B-sides either! Listen for yourself; you won’t skip a song!

XODIAC

We have your new feel-good song right here! XODIAC‘s ‘TIME 2 SHINE’ is the new fun piece we needed to freshen up our playlists. You can’t tell us you listened to this without busting one or two silly moves. It’s the track that will fill you up with all the positive energy. Did you notice we got another unit song in this single album? ‘LOVERS OR JUST FRIENDS’ is just as hype-worthy as the group tracks, and we will absolutely stream it a bunch. We’re absolutely obsessed with GLOWY DAY, and you should follow our example.

DEARALICE

This just in: SM’s new British boy group dropped their debut single! Yes, you read that right. dearALICE’s new song, ‘Ariana,’ is an addictive pop song that has been stuck in our heads since its release. We’re excited to see what kind of sound and concept dearALICE will lean into, and we hope they get to release more videos and songs in 2025!

ASTRO

Happy 9th anniversary to ASTRO! Our faves released a special single to celebrate with us. ‘Twilight’ is a lovely rock ballad that reminds us of how much time has passed since we started stanning. We’re completely different from who we were nine years ago, but our love for ASTRO hasn’t changed at all. We’d love to see more of our boys in 2025, whether with a group comeback or more solo comebacks and projects!

HEARTS2HEARTS

We’ve been loving all the debuts in this month’s K-Pop hotspot! Hearts2Hearts just released their debut single album, The Chase! It features two tracks that we instantly added to our playlists. The title track, ‘The Chase,’ is a dreamy bop with an insane pop R&B melody! And the B-side’ Butterflies’ is just as high quality as the title. We don’t need any more convincing; we were meant to start stanning these girls!
