‘EENIE MEENIE’
‘EENIE MEENIE’ is a fresh, fun track that mixes hip-hop with pop seemingly. The contrabass throughout the song adds something really special, making it fun yet giving it a bit of suspense. It’s a song full of personality and charisma. ‘EENIE MEENIE’s’ is all about not letting decisions and choices scare you and actually embracing them. It’s all about Chung Ha‘s new beginning. After just one listen, the chorus will be stuck in your head – believe us. And the last chorus is everything to us. The track explodes and gives us a moment full of energy and charisma from Chung Ha. And we all know how powerful that is.
And how could we talk about this track without highlighting the crazy collaboration that it is? Because ‘EENIE MEENIE’ features none other than ATEEZ‘s Hongjoong. It’s one of the best rappers in K-Pop with one of our favorite solo artists of all time, so of course it was going to be amazing. Hongjoong simply fits in the track perfectly and adds even more fun and dynamism to the song. It’s a match made in heaven.
‘EENIE MEENIE’ is the perfect track to see Chung Ha‘s charisma and stage presence as well as her beautiful and powerful voice, and, of course, her impressive dance skills. The performance of the song accompanied with the dance crew makes the song even better. ‘EENIE MEENIE’ is a perfect Chung Ha song.
‘I’m Ready’
It takes one song to have us all excited about Chung Ha’s big return, but ‘EENIE MEENIE’ isn’t the only song in the single album. ‘I’m Ready’ shows a whole other side of Chung Ha. It’s a much darker track with a deep house sound and vocals to blow you away. It’s bold and confident, and as the opening track of her single album, ‘I’m Ready’ truly shows that Chung Ha is back and she’s not going anywhere. And if you thought the performance for ‘EENIE MEENIE’ was already mindblowing, you’re not ready for ‘I’m Ready’ – and neither are we. With only a trailer, we know this performance will be everything. When we say Chung Ha is back better than ever, we mean it.
This is Chung Ha‘s new beginning and her moment to shine. And we’ve never been this excited for her. We’re so ready to see her take over K-Pop again.
